    On July 26, 2024, my wife, my son, my daughter, and my father-in-law went to the park at Universal Studios in Hollywood. They were standing in line for one of the activities within ************** World. My son waited in the line properly, while my wife, daughter, and father-in-law stood to the side. When it was his turn to enter the attraction, the workers in question apparently hadn't seen him and decided he had cut in line. My wife explained my son *had* been in the line, they simply hadn't seen him, and that if they wanted to confirm they could ask the person behind him, which would have resolved the issue. The workers did not want to do that, and instead elected to call for the manager. The manager also did not wish to listen, instead saying she believes her employees and ordered my wife and son away from the attraction. He was told to go to the back of the line, or to leave. My wife at that point began taking video, and the manager can be heard on the video telling my wife that if she was not willing to comply with going to the back of the line, she had to leave. I attempted to contact Universal Studios, but no one in guest services was available, so I had to speak to an escalation supervisor in ticket sales, who was helpful and made a report, but since Universal has failed to have anyone that could remedy the situation while my child was in the park, my family is now humiliated and simply doesn't want to come to Universal anymore. As someone who has bought VIP tickets to Halloween Horror Nights multiple times (2014, 2017, 2018) and has attended the park countless times over the years, spending literally thousands of dollars, this is flatly unacceptable treatment. I am submitted pictures of the workers in question and the manager in question, and I have also retained a video of the end of the encounter where the manager was clearly not interested in resolving the issue, telling my wife to leave.     My experience at Universal Studios Hollywood on 8/2/2023 was very disappointing worst day of my life so bad that I would rather go back to **** than go back to that place. The wait times were extremely long, consuming a lot of our time This place is not accommodating for Disable American Veterans. I did not want to go in the first place but I let my wife and *** and her friend talked me into it. I explain to the Universal staff of my condition and even showed them my Military ID saying that Im a disable Veteran they just didnt care I was in so much pain from the long wait times by the end of the day that I had to go to the VA hospital the next day. Universal tells me that they cant provide me a medical pass to not have to wait in line this place is absolutely not worth coming a long way for, The ONLY thing this place is good for is to take your money but again its Hollywood what would you expect.SeaWorld now on the other hand is VERY accommodating to our American Disable Veterans for any Vets that wants to visit a park

    At our Park, Guest comfort and safety is our number one priority. With that in mind, we have updated our accommodations request process to better serve our Guests with disabilities who require assistance in queue environments. While we request Guests start this process prior to visiting the Park, we understand that is not always possible, so we do our best to assist in Guest Relations.

    All of our queues are now wheelchair accessible and for many Guests, renting a wheelchair is the best option for navigating our lines. We're sorry you felt that this was not the best option for your situation.  

    We understand how frustrating it must be to be denied an accommodation that perhaps you were expecting or may have received in the past. Please know that the updates to our polices are meant to provide the best possible experience for all our Guests.
