  I hired Denise Chilson to prepare my taxes and do bookkeeping work. She had promised to have my 2020 taxes done by April 2022 and we have tried to contact her via phone, letters and emails and she contacted us in March, June and August promising to have the 2020 taxes filed and last correspondence an email on August 15, 2022 confirming she would have taxes filed by end of August 2022. We explained to her we had a deadline with the IRS on August 26, 2022 as our current installment agreement has been terminated due to not receiving the 2020 taxes. She has ignored our phone calls and emails and caused us to be in major trouble with the IRS as they are going to garnish our wages. We have also paid her a deposit of $1,500.00 to do the taxes. She also has our tax paperwork and we have demanded our paperwork to be returned so we can hire another tax preparer to do our taxes and our deposit of $1,500.00 to be returned, which all has been ignored. This is for our individual and business taxes. She was put us in dire straits with the IRS with no response from her at all.

  With the passing of our mom and dad within nine months of each other, it has been a little challenging and I do apologize.
  
   
  
  We do take pride in my work and our firm did achieve the best results from the audit with the Internal Revenue Service in which your previous CPA firm did not assist you with as their firm had prepared
  
  the Corporate and Individual Income Tax Returns. 
  
   
  
  Our firm’s responsibility is to insure that we are filing accurate and thorough tax returns while maximizing to obtain the best results possible. 
  
   
  
  I have gone through each bag of monthly receipts and sorted by the numerous credit cards to create journal entries to reflect business expenses paid by personal bank accounts and by personal
  
  credit cards.  Deposits were also made into the personal acccounts which pierces the “corporate veil” and I am reviewing to obtain what is needed to provide the detailed information
  
  for the filing of the Corporate returns.
  
   
  
  Are you available to come by the office at 4:00 pm to sign E-File Forms?  I will also email the invoices for the preparation and bookkeeping of the Corporate Tax Returns in addition
  
  the preparation of the Individual Income Tax Returns.

   I am rejecting this response because:
  
  I went to the office of  Denise Chilson at 4pm on 09/22/2022 as she set up for me to pick up my taxes and she was not there and I left several phone messages and emails with no reply.

  
  

  I have not heard from her since 09/22/2022 per her email setting up the appt at her office at 4pm.

  
  

  Once again, she makes promises to either have the taxes done by a certain date and then we do not hear from her for sometimes months.  We follow up with emails, phone calls and no reply.

  
  

  We are now requesting our 2020 paperwork from her so we can have someone else do the taxes and we are on a deadline with the IRS.

  
  

  This is very SERIOUS and she continues to ignore our URGENT requests to help us!
