We had Right Now Solar and Air install solar panels on our home. Plans were not followed and the wrong wiring was used and breakers and terminals in my elec panel were damaged. It took 5 months to get the repair done and we were not collecting solar power during that time. We accumulated a large amount of electrical bills in that time and the owner is refusing to work with us to recover the cost we incurred while the system his company installed was not functioning.

This system was permitted and signed off by the city of ****. We cannot control ********** The homeowner had 3rd party working on the system, we dont know what they did. We did replace the breaker (under warranty) and the system is working. We do not have any verbiage that we are responsible for any loss of power or production at any time for any length of time.
On the tech side we installed 24 panels, each one has a max amp of 1.28 x 24=30.72 the breaker is 40 amp, and we installed #8 THHN wire that is rated for 40 amp. This is a norm in the Solar, HVAC and Electrical world. The breaker is to protect the wire and meets the 20% back feed rule for this electric panel.
