I gave them by companies debt and I have asked numerous times what outcome came from what I submitted. They cannot give me an answer. When I email, ******* uses the excuse it, "it went to spam," each time. When I call the front desk they actually told me ******* doesn't work there when in fact he did. When I asked ******* what procedures were followed with the debt I submitted he has not, in years, given me any answer. He just says he will get back to me and never does. I want to know what happened to the accounts that I sent the company. I would like answers. At this point I feel they collected and kept our portion. This company states that I have a collections account with them for a bill I don't owe. When the original bill was supposedly due I was deployed and was not even using the service. I came back from deployment and spoke with the original company who said they were going to delete the bills and I owed nothing. Now 5 years later I get a collections notice. This is unacceptable. I do not owe anything yet they claim I do. How are they even trying to collect on a bill that is 5 years old?Business response

I am rejecting this response because:I did file a dispute through their company and through the credit bureaus. They did nothing. They didn't bother to confirm with the business they are supposed to be collecting for. I do not owe this to begin with as the ******** store in *********** ******* was supposed to clear off the debt as I was not to be charged while deployed. Also this debt is more than 5 years old but they are trying to say it's not by changing the due date. They can't collect on something and change the date unless I make any payments towards that debt which I did not. I feel they are not complying with the ***** also the debt collector has a certain amount of time to file the suit, called the "statute of limitations." In *****, the statute of limitations for debt is 4 years. My home state while in the service was *****. They need to clear this debt.

I am rejecting this response because:They did not accept the documents sent. When asked what settlement they offer they didn't take anything off of the price. Proving they are just in it for money and have no desire to work this out. So stating they are willing to work with anyone is incorrect.
