      I sent the below email months ago (4/23/24) to ******************************************* In May I received a call from **** who said hed help me, same day I received a call from ******* who said **** wasnt going to help me, she would. She originally said I was incorrectly told about the pricing, offered to give dining credits, and said shed call me back. ; When she called me back she said she could remove the $80 a day, let her know. I emailed her saying Id like to remove the $80 a day. Now weve been going back and forth for weeks, and shes saying she never told me she could remove the $80. Can someone pull her second call to me and finally resolve? Im getting discouraged/ frustrated. 4/23/24 Email Booking Nos. 6TWXXP and 6TWXXV Hello,I recently booked two rooms side by side on the Sun princess: 6TWXXP and 6TWXXV. For budgeting purposes (as this is going to be the most expensive trip weve ever taken), when I made the bookings via telephone, I asked the rep to include the premier package, with the understanding that I could remove it later if I so decided. It was $80 a day per person extra, which was well over $2000 for my bookings.Today I received word that my rooms received a complimentary upgrade to the Sanctuary Collection. Upon reading, the Premier package is standard in those rooms. So I called to ask to remove the $80 a day charges for the premier package, but was told the system was giving an error message and couldnt even remove the package anymore.When I made the booking, I relied on that I could remove the $80 a day charge for the premier package, as especially as the time got closer my family may decide we could not afford that package. Can you please remove the $80 a day charge from my bookings? My understanding is I still would have received the complimentary upgrade to the sanctuary collection based on my room type regardless of whether I would have paid for the premier package at the offset.Thank you,*****************************.

      Grandma with a Gripe: I purchased 3 adjoining balcony rooms and took my two adult sons, daughter-in-laws (****) and 4 grandkids (ages 2, 4, 7 and 12) for an inside passage scenic cruising experience 7/14/24. First off, the ship was beautiful, the food was amazing (not room service) and the staff went above and beyond. I have 3 ISSUEs: #1) I got help from a Princess Planning Rep to book the cruise. She KNEW that two of the balcony rooms were for my sons and their family. She NEVER told me that the kids would be sleeping in bunkbeds that hung from the ceiling and I would need to ask for safety rails if I wanted them! One of my daughter-in-laws (****) told me about this situation so 2 days before sailing I called Princess to explain my situation and asked what could be done. She said I could requested a roll-away bed for the 2 year old.... which I did and then NEVER got! My heart was broken when I realized that my oldest son, my DIL and their two kiddos (2 yrs and 4 years) ALL slept in the same bed for the entire cruise. #2) The Princess Planning Rep did not let me know that the supervised children's club would not accept my 2 year old grandson without adult supervision SO, not being able to have my busy, well-natured, did I say busy grandson, ****, participate in the kids club was a real bummer. It was much less stressful for my son and DIL to spend most of their time in their room verses navigating the ship with him in tow. Finally #3) I have friends who have cruised inside passage Alaska with Norwegian and with Carnival cruise lines. They told me they got right up close to the glacier... well that was NOT our experience. The only way to really see the glacier was to pay for an excursion. I have attached a picture of the ***** Glacier that shows one of the excursion boats headed for the glacier. Our captain of the Magestic Princess, slowly rotated the ship 360 degrees so everyone could see the glacier and then we left! This was VERY disheartening to me.
