***** the finance Manager is a *****. I purchased a vehicle here and she sold me on a windshield protection and tire protection plan for an extra "$60.00" added onto my payment which I agreed to purchase. Turns out these protection plans added $10,000 extra onto my loan amount which she never informed me about. She stated these plans could be canceled at anytime. Now that I call in to cancel she's stating they aren't refundable when she said otherwise. Shady business practices. They have money on their mind instead of customer satisfaction. I wouldn't purchase another vehicle here.

After I had owned my Chevrolet Bolt EUV for 18 months, the drain tube from the air conditioning condenser became clogged. This is a common problem with this model, and Chevrolet acknowledges that it is caused by a design flaw and is covered by my three-year, bumper-to-bumper warranty. I have spoken to other owners of this model who have experienced the same problem, and they confirmed that the dealers treated this as a warranty issue and performed the repair without cost to the owners. When I dropped the car off with *************************** at AutoNation Chevrolet Valencia this morning, I explained that that was a common warranty issue. He told me a technician would examine my car and evaluate the situation. He did not provide me with a quote or any other paperwork, and I did not authorize any service that would cost me money.I called **************** a few hours later, and he told me that service had been performed. He falsely claimed that, because foreign debris was allegedly found in the condenser drain tube, this was not covered by my warranty. I explained again that this was a known design issue and that Chevrolet acknowledged that it was covered by the warranty. He refused to accept that, and told me I had to pay the $200.I needed my car immediately, and **************** was unwilling to discuss the matter further, so I picked up my car and paid the money. However, I hereby demand that AutoNation Chevrolet Valencia acknowledge that this issue was caused by an known design flaw and is covered by my warranty, and that they refund my money immediately.

******* advised the customer at write up and provided an estimate that the repair may be due to clogged drain tube. **** was not accepting of the possibility but auth us to continue.  **** was also advised that he was due for a cabin filter replacement but would jot accept that it would be time to replace it becaus the vehicle only has 15k miles. ******* confirmed the issue and cleared the clog. During inspection we found the filter dirty and advised replacement accordingly.

He was advised of an estimate at write up and given additional estimate to replace the cabin filter.

Regardless of his complaint not being valid we will refund the amount paid.

Upon purchasing a new vehicle at autonation ****** you will encounter an individual selling you warranties and extras. One of these is a tire warranty. This guy is a scammer. He has a nice tire in his office with a nail it it and smiles and tells you all u have to do is back over something large enough to cause tire damage and bring it in they replace them no questions asked. Not only is this false but its shady business practice and they allow it. Hes been doing it for years. I would guess this branch sells hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in bs tire warranties to consumers and honors none of it. Ive tried. I want my money back. All of it. ****************** is decent but sales side is as crooked as they come. And no im not new ive purchased 6 cars from them. Only stupid enough to buy that policy once and it was enough. Thanks guys

I am rejecting this response because:

all they did was message me privately trying to find an out. Im sorry, ****, my service records are in regards to resale. Not this bogus tire warranty. BE ADVISED, Autonation Chevrolet will not address this issue being a fraudulent salesman. I dont care about your refund. I care about accountability and you sir have proven there is none

On ******** *** ***** I financed a vehicle from Auto Nation of Valencia. I informed the director of the finance department that I had been experiencing a minor squeak coming from the brakes. I was advised that it was related to the rain and the new brake replacement. I was further advised that the brakes were replaced prior to purchase and that the issue would subside. However, days and weeks went by and there were no chances. In fact, the issue worsened. After not being able to reach anyone by phone. On ******* ** ***** I reached out (by email) to the sales team that I purchased the vehicle from. I was the. advised by a Manager that the brakes were fine since they were recently replaced and instructed to report to the service department for lube. The brakes worsened and the minor squeaking issues turned into major rattling, vibration, and constant loud squeaking. On February 5, 2022, I took my vehicle in for service and was advised by a service Manager that it was not covered in my 90-day warranty. To date, my brakes have not been replaced or resolved. I shouldn't have any issues with my vehicle following my purchase. It was literally the next day that I started noticing the problem. I drove from the car lot to my home and noticed the issue afterwards. I ask that AutoNation of Valencia replace my brakes at no charge. Thanks.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/28) */ Customer never brought car back in after concern. Customer needs to bring car into service department to inspect. Customer has gone almost 5 months without bringing vehicle in for stated concern. Customer needs to make appointment with service asap. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/05/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Greetings! None of this information is true. The issue was reported to the sales and service team on January 8, 2022. I was advised that I could take it to the Auto Nation of Torrance since it was closer to my home. I took the Jeep in for service on _______. At that time, I was advised by the Service Manager that I would have to pay the fees for servicing. It is unclear as to why I am responsible for the fees; when it hadn't been 90 days since the vehicle was purchased. To date, my car issues have not been properly addressed because I should not have to pay for out-of-pocket fees for a vehicle that was sold to me with problems at the time of purchase. My concern was not addressed in this response. Please advise the reason I have to pay the fees? Also, I have the Service Manager's name and contact number who I spoke to at the time of service. Although I was routed back to the Valencia Service Department, I was still instructed by the General Manager there that I would have to pay. Please assist me in having these concerns resolved once and for all. Thanks. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2022/05/10) */ Customer needs to make appointment with service department at AN Chevrolet Valencia. The car will be inspected at no charge to determine the issue. The resolution will be made once this has been done.

On Wednesday 2/16/2022 I arrived at AutoNation Chevrolet of Valencia at around 3:40pm to obtain an appraisal on my vehicle. While attempting to work out a deal for trading in my vehicle for another vehicle on the lot of the dealership, I was asked to complete a credit application for consideration with one specific bank (******). The bank that I was attempting to work with is my personal credit union, ******, which AutoNation Chevrolet of Valencia agreed was in their network of lenders. I did not complete the entire credit application, nor did I sign an authorization for my credit to be considered by multiple banks. Between the hours of 5pm-8pm that same day (2/16/2022) my credit was ran by a member of AutoNation Chevrolet of Valencia a total of 7 times for consideration with 6 banks (my social security number was submitted to one of the six banks twice). The banks are as follows: *********************************************************************************************************** These were all unauthorized inquiries on my credit report.

****** My husband and I traded in our BMW for a Chevy truck. Til this day I am still listed as the registered owner of this BMW, which I have been receiving and went to court for multiple citations on this vehicle. Autonation said the couldn't help me because they sold the vehicle to a wholesaler. I have been in contact with DMV numerous times. I just received notice the car is impounded. I literally don't know what to do anymore. I don't want my name affiliated with this vehicle anymore.

      Business response

      03/23/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/23) */ DMV investigator was here yesterday for this complaint. DMV investigator says there is nothing we can do that we did everything right. He also stated that it is the seller (************************) responsibility to notify DMV of release of liability. Investigator stated he will track down who car was auctioned to and pursue them. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/03/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This response makes it look like we as the sellers did not do our part in mailing in the release of liability. I mailed in release of liability multiple times. DMV notified me that that my name was still listed, as the registered owner. So someone somewhere dropped the ball. I will not be responsible for this vehicle and risk getting my taxes garnished or losing my license. What kind of people do you do business with. I will never go to Autonation or refer anyone. I have wasted time and money making multiple copies and being on the phone with ** County over a dozen citations, now the vehicle is impounded and I'm being charged for this. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/03/03) */ This isn't an Autonation caused problem, it is the DMV process that does not change the registered owner until the next registered owner applies regardless of the release of liability. DMV investigator was here and said we did nothing wrong and was pursuing it with the wholesaler who purchased the car at auction. Autonation takes no responsibility for DMV practices. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/03/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Even though you might not want to take responsibility for this, you are the third party seller and you have records that show who purchased this vehicle. To help or provide customer service you can reach out to the wholesaler that purchased this vehicle and relay the information. AutoNation is still listed as the LEGAL Owner of this vehicle. If you do not want to contact the wholesaler then send me the information. Show me the records. I will contact them myself.
