On 8/19/20 I purchased a 2020 Ram 1500 with 6900 miles from Russell Westbrook Maserati. The CarFax showed no accidents and the dealer told me it was never involved in any accidents. In November 2021, I noticed the paint severely splitting on the drivers door. Took it to dealer who photographed it and sent to Dodge. Dodge refused to pay indicating that there was 'outside interference' which was bondo down the entire drivers side of the truck. The truck was in a major accident with the entire driver side repaired with bondo and repainted including the tailgate. Very obvious once I had the badging removed which shows they just taped off the badges and painted around them. Also have photos showing the failure to replace all the moulding on the drivers side doors after they repainted the truck. I have an estimate for over 8k as the faulty bondo has to be removed and repaired correctly. I tried contactng the dealer to get them to buy the truck back at a fair price (***) but the refuse and kept stalling for 2.5 months. I am appalled that a dealer would sell a vehicle that has been obviously repaired. I actually have photos that show the overspray line from the taped off repair!!! All I want is for them to buy the truck back for *** (which is less than market value) and do the right thing.Business response

Was leased an******************* TI by a dishonest salesperson named ***** on 12/9/22. Within 5 minutes of taking the car from *****, I am driving and set GPS navigation to "Fed Ex" from ***** zip in CA, took me to Ohio. When I entered "Target," while parked 100 yards from a Target - Navigation said I should go to a location in Maine. When I asked the salesman why this was happening he lied and tried to make me believe this was normal for GPS, then - "I don't know how *******'s work, I don't own one." Now,2 months later, the car is 100% dead and non operational. I was promised if the car had any electrical issues it would be easy to take in and get fixed, no questions asked. I had horrible electrical problems with the car I just had, and was very clear with the salesperson that most important to me was my safety and having a working navigation system. I had just been in a near death car accident one week prior so it was imperative that I have a working GPS system. I was very clear I was looking to avoid electrical issues and would pay more money to get a working GPS and dealership that took care of me and the car. Instead, I got a salesman trying to convince me the broken navigation was working great, and the dealership told me that they sent a service technician out to my house (they sent the same salesman who is not a service technician by any means) he said the car worked fine so they considered it working fine. I was hoping I would never have to deal with this dealership again but sadly a 2 month old / 2022 car is now 100% dead + I am being told by **** ***** roadside assistance that if I want this non operational new car to be towed to the dealership I leased it from, I'd have to pay out of pocket. Or, I can get it towed to a dealership closer to me for free, but can't get a loaner car for a week. I spent 9 hours on the phone today just trying to get someone to help me with this lemon. I am out a car and have no way to get anywhere. I want a working car.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 17, 2022/04/21) */ We spoke with client regarding the concerns the customer stated they are having on her *******. We have arranged a pickup of her current car and have dropped a loaner vehicle for her to drive while her vehicle is being diagnosed. The vehicle is still currently being worked on and will hopefully have resolution soon. Consumer Response /* (3000, 21, 2022/04/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) When I went to drop off the loaner they tried to demand I sign ********* stating they performed work on my car - and when I asked **** *** to read and explain the paperwork to me because I would not sign anything that says I agree that they did work on my car - he told me he was calling the police saying I was stealing their loaner vehicle. I think called an attorney who told me to call the police on **** *** and the entire dealership for not releasing my car to me. At this point **** *** told me to just take the loaner or my leased lemon - I took my leased lemon and left the dealership. I immediately drove it to another **** ***** dealership, the service manager looked at the paperwork I was given (described above) and said "They did not do anything on your car." Which I was telling **** ***** the entire time they would not find anything wrong with the car. I simply want a properly working car and to deal with people who are stable and ethical. I had to ask **** *** to physically back up from me so many times at that dealership when I was picking up the lemon ******* - and during a global pandemic he actually mocked me for continuing to tell him to back up. "Is THIS far enough back for you?" First of all I am a woman and 2nd of all this is a man physically getting into my space within inches of me - I am not comfortable with this and still appalled that anyone who behaves in this manner has a job. Much less a job as any type of manager. So I still have a loaner from another dealership and it is my 3rd attempt at getting the car fixed. I am working with lemon law attorneys to get a resolution as well as exploring a lawsuit against the dealership itself, which would include **** *** and ***** ******* who both lied about everything in relation the car. Other than me getting a loaner from this dealership - nothing anyone there has said has actually been true. Business Response /* (4000, 25, 2022/06/16) */ Business keeps the same position as previously statedInitial Complaint

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/21) */ We spoke to********* on Friday and informed him that we were working on this for him. Our DMV clerk mentioned that it should have been cleared by Friday and our registration company would FedEx him the proper paperwork. We also informed him that we would cover 2022 registration if he did not get renewal documents for all of the hassle and inconvenience. We will follow up with our registration company and the******** today to hopefully have this all resolved. Thank you
