On 1/3/2024 I placed an order with Garage Doors and Gates 4 Less to custom order and install a brand new garage door from C.H.I. and replace my garage door opener. I paid them $3,500 (50% of total). On 2/1/2024 they arrived to my home to install the garage door. During their installation they damaged the surfaces of my custom ordered garage doors. Once I brought this to their attention they were reluctant to help me initiate a warranty replacement. I had to contact the manufacturer they ordered from directly to arrange the warranty replacement of the damaged panels their installer was responsible for. C.H.I. agreed to process my warranty claim and shipped the replacement panels to their service center in *******, **. Garage Doors and Gates 4 Less picked up my replacement garage door panels on 4/4/2024 and is refusing to schedule a date and time to complete the installation of their damaged panels unless I pay them the remaining balance of $3,945 in full prior. I stated to them I am willing to pay the remaining balance in full on date of completion like our contract was agreed upon and do not feel comfortable paying them in advance due to the way they have handled this process. They refuse to answer any of my phone calls/text or reply to numerous e-mails sent. I have even asked the regional manager of C.H.I. to attempt to contact them to help resolve this issue.
