I purchased a ***** ****** Potions Class in October intended to be a Christmas gift. We opened it on January 1st and discovered a piece was duplicated and another was missing. I contacted the company that day to ask for the missing piece. I was told it would be shipped. Two weeks later I hadn't received the piece and emailed. They asked if I wanted it to be resent and I said yes. By January 31st I emailed to ask if the item had shipped and didn't receive a response. I emailed again on February 14th and again didn't receive a response. On March 19th I submitted a new claim and was told it was past the warranty for replacement parts. I emailed them to explain the entire situation and I am once again getting no response.Initial Complaint

My daughter's grandfather purchased an LOL Surprise OMG Fierce ********* doll for her for Christmas. The doll is wearing a large gold cape which was damaged out of the box. It appears that the cape had a crease in it when the gold applique was added, leaving a white line down the length of the cape. I reached out to the company requesting that they replace the cape and they are refusing to do so. This means that he spent $29.99 for a defective product. This is beyond unprofessional. Clearly MGA Entertainment could care less about the quality of their products and is comfortable scaming their customers.Initial Complaint

MGA had a recall on the mini verses. I had purchased several as Christmas gifts. I contacted *** and they sent a prepaid shipping label to send them in. I returned 29 units altogether That I had purchased for $338.14. I received a check in the mail a couple of weeks later for $195.72. I contacted them about the shortage and they said that was all they was paying because $6.99 was the cost at big retail stores.Initial Complaint

I followed recall instructions and returned the unopened resin containers from recalled products, i also sent in a full list of items as well as price breakdown as I was seeking a refund. I went beyond the full scope and even included the upc labels from the items to help make processing easier.Per the company representative via email on 11/12/24 my refund per item based on average sale price should be as follow: ****** MGA's Miniverse-Mini Home S1A PDQ $9.99 120339 MGA's Miniverse-Make It All You Can Eat $69.99....I sent in 51 of '******' and 31 of '120339' which would equate to a refund of $2679.18. I received a refund check for the amount of only $2152.19(short $526.99).I am not a man of extreme wealth and being cheated out of this money has caused financial strain. If needed I have documented proofs of emails from this company as well as pictures of my included lists.Initial Complaint

This complaint is in regards to the *** Miniverse recall. We were poorly instructed on how to complete the process to get our refund. I was told that I would receive a check within four weeks after receiving my return. My returns were received July 5 of this year. I have yet to receive my check. I have reached out to their returns recall department several times only to be told. Yes, the check is cut sorry it must be still in the accounting department. Please be patient. Wait another 4 weeks to get the check. This check is for $640! How are they able to keep my money and not process the returns and refund checks as promised in a timely manner?? I am now two months past the time I should have received my refund check. This company should not be operating if they cannot process the refunds for the products that they had sold with toxic resin.! They should have a major fine to pay! This is awful!Initial Complaint

I heard about the recall on resin from *** MiniVerse products. I had 3 resins that were sealed and unopened. I filed my recalls online with them and sent the 3 resins into a tracked package Via Canada post. They said that they cannot send a replacement but would send a cheque instead. They sent a cheque of $16. Thats it.What about the other two products? They know that their products are roughly $16 and sometimes even more such as the one I got for the drink machine ($19)I am owed a cheque for the other two products that I bought and sent sealed to them.Initial Complaint

MGA Entertainment came out with a recall on their Make It Mini line of toys. I filled out the form for the recall 3 times now and they are not responding or sending me the shipping label to complete the recall. It seems like they will never send it specifically, so they don't have to refund me. I've tried contacting support, but I never get a response from them either. There was a recall with mini verse resins in many kits that were purchased for my daughter. I followed the recall instructions and sent back unused resins, 25 bottles to be exact. Some were leaking (they were purchased that way). I was expecting a decent refund as I spent hundreds of dollars on these sets and was sent $39. They said because they were leaking they couldn't tell which were sealed and they all were my daughter never used them. I had them in multiple bags which I have photos of so their response is a lie there was only one bag that had leaking bottles. They refunded me for 4 out of 25. I was scammed. MGA issued a recall involving mini verse toys. I received a mailing label and mailed out the resin. I then received an email stating that the returned items are not within the scope of their recall. I sent back about 50 bottles of resin with some of them being opened and some being sealed. They are stating that because of the resin being opened its not eligible for the recall. I did not feel comfortable or safe having my daughters have the resin. I opted for a refund for the resin. I now have these toys that cannot be assembled because I do not have resin. The toys we have are now useless. I am out a lot of money. I have sent emails and have chatted with customer service and they just gave me the email address which is useless.
