I was told the issue could be fixed after $3,000 bill the issue was not fixed, i then was told by the manager the same man who told me he could fix this issue how sorry he was but it was much worse than he had thought but, what he could do that is if I chose to install a new motor and adjust the cost of this instillation as I should not have had to pay for something they told me could be fixed but was not, you must understand I’ve done business with Bob Carlson /MasterCraft Motors here in Ventura they also have a sister shop in Santa Barbara. So I called for the estimate to have this job done $6,000 + thinking once the job was underway the adjustment would be credited to my account I made appointment took my truck in after 2 weeks nothing had been done the motor was on back order so I waited until both the motor was in and the loaner was available as I live in my truck and I have to go to work making a appointment was very important due to the fact I’d have to stay in a motel while the truck was in the shop so the new manager and I made a appointment December 6 9am I dropped my truck off for a 3-4 days On January 5 th I picked up my truck I was beyond comprehension of what had taken place but tried to move forward had the truck for 2 days and their was this vibrating noise along with the oil gauge on the dash was all the way at the end I emailed the manager and he told me to bring it in but I had spent all my savings staying in a motel for the duration it took for the motor to be installed I thought he would say bring it in we will come up with something because I was not going to drive it ! But he did not show any care or consern, I waited until pay day and brought it in we dropped it off and got a motel room waiting the next day it was fixed or so he said I was charged again drove away and the same two issues we’re still problem so I took it to a different mechanic where the first thing he said is who ever worked on your truck should never be allowed to work on
