    I had previously ordered a cost book from ***; it was paid for and delivered. Then I received an unsolicited cost book and then an additional invoice when I did not order or ask for this book. I absolutely did not sign up for an autoship and there was no mention of an autoship when I checked out. I see this is a common occurance with this company as most complaints are the same. I did email the company with no response. It would be wise to never order from this company as this scam seems common for them.

    I did not order this book and they will not issue a return label. When I ordered the 2024 Home Remodeler's cost book I did not consent to or order a 2025 Home Remodeler's cost book. However, I was still sent the 2025 book with a demand for payment. I have called twice (8/16/24 and 8/30/24) and both times they have claimed they do not issue return labels and will cancel the invoice. The letter BNI Publications sent me on August 12th clearly states they will issue a Merchandise Return Label. They have failed to do so. I would like to have the invoice canceled, and I am happy to return the book as well.

    I believe this customer misunderstood our customer service rep.  The customer was told that their invoice was indeed cancelled, and that there was no need to return the book.  The customer can keep the book free of charge. They can donate it to a library if they wish.  We did not wish to inconvenience them with the need to return it. The customer has also been removed from our auto-renew program.  There is no balance due.  We apologize for this misunderstanding.

    *** has now sent me 2 invoices, # N-********, for a product I never ordered, requested or received. At first I thought it was purely a phishing type letter but now realize they are actually trying to charge me for this. Others have made similar complaints about this scam. I am considering pursuing legal recourse with the *******************. This practice is highly unethical.

    We have received several invoices and statements from BNI Publications, **** For $150.12 **** General Construction Costbook. Inv#N-00380900. This is not a purchase we requested, approved nor have we received such book. Please help!

    The **** *** General Construction Costbook was shipped to ******************* in conjuction with his annual subscription.  We have cancelled this subscription, as well as the balance due, and he will receive no future annual shipments.

    BNI building news sent an unsolicited 2023 ENR Square Foot Cost book for a free 30-day trial with an invoice date of 11/15/22, with an invoice of $114.70 (inv. No. N-********). They have been doing this practice for some years. This was not requested, nor am I subscribed to any other services. I do not use these cost books. I cannot pay for the books that I do not request.I received a second invoice of $115.70 (Inv. No. N-********) with delinquency status, for another 2023 ENR Square Foot cost book. This is not a legal business practice.

    I received an unsolicited cost-book thru the mail with an invoice. I have no use for this and don't want it and I don't need to go about sending it back since it came thru ***************** Mail unsolicited by me or my company. It came with an invoice with a due date. I find it unethical and close to being a scam. In reading about this, it seems this is the way that *** gets rid of cost books that don't sell. I want the company *** to take me off all mailing lists immediately and remove any billing charges on goods that I didn't order.
