      Order #******* Date: 6/12/2022 at 3:17 pm Purchase price: $81.10 Came into the Oceanside store on 6/12 and found some Red Eyed Tree Frogs for sale. Asked the store if I could see them to examine their health. When they pulled down the tank, one frog appeared healthy while another was sleeping in the water dish (usually a bad sign for frogs in my experience). I noted the health concerns about the frog, the store staff assured me they were fine and asked me if I "wanted them or not." I took both, trusting the expert opinions of store staff. Added these guys straight into my quarantine tank. Less than 18 hours later, the first frog was dead. Less than 24 hours after purchase, both frogs were dead. Never in my 6 years of keeping Red Eyes have I seen new frogs die so quickly. It's evident this store knows it's selling poor-*****************, but just doesn't seem to care. I was also told these were captive-bred frogs by store staff, but I find that hard to believe based on how quickly they died. I've reached out to the store via phone but was told that they now have a no-refund policy (something that was not posted in the store nor made known to me by staff at the time of purchase). The store owner was very rude on the phone.I then reached out to their corporate customer service via phone but got sent to voicemail. I then sent an email to their customer care ***** however, they never responded. After posting a review of my situation on yelp, the store owner again responded poorly and argumentatively despite the lies his staff told me at the time of purchase. Pretty disappointed in this store overall. I would at least like to get my money back for these frogs ($81.10). There's no way a store selling "healthy" products shouldn't stand behind the livestock they sell. Healthy frogs shouldn't die within 24 hours of purchase.
