***** ****** engaged in very aggressive sales tactics including a bait and switch. She said if we applied for a credit card we would receive $900 on our $15,000 purchase. So my wife applied for credit (her credit score was dinged as a result) and got credit for $20,000. Then we were told the $900 would not apply to this purchase but to future purchases. I have a recording of the lie that we were told and I would like a) the store to give us the $900 credit, b) ***** to be disciplined and ideally fired, and c) the store to improve their training to ensure this dishonest sales practice is not used or tolerated.Initial Complaint

Furniture ordered from Arhaus furniture company in April 2022. As of September 2022, furniture was paid in full ($6005.05). Between September 2022 and March 2023, numerous delivery attempts were made, all unsuccessfully. Each attempt had its own failure including 1) damaged furniture, 2) missing piece, 3) duplicate/incorrect piece. I received the runaround from numerous employees over the 6-7 months, with multiple emails and calls unreturned. As of April 2023, I still had no furniture and cancelled the order in writing and requested a full refund, for which I received an acknowledgement. The money was not refunded so I filed a dispute with my credit card company who performed an investigation per their standard process and ultimately resolved in my favor due to not receiving any response from the merchant. Although my credit card company refunded me the money and I never received the product, the merchant claims I owe the bill in full and has sent my account to collections. I am filing this complaint due to numerous bad business practices including erroneously sending an account to collections despite them not delivering the product.
