      To Whom It May Concern,On October 11, 2024, I brought my vehicle to Jet Black Tint for a window tint installation. Since that date, Ive had to return three timesincluding todaybecause the rear window tint continues to peel and wont properly adhere.On my first return, I expected the faulty tint to be removed and replaced. Instead, the technician sprayed a solution and attempted to reuse the same defective film, which is unacceptable and unprofessional. This temporary fix did not solve the problem, and the film continues to come loose.These repeated visits have caused major inconvenience and wasted time, not to mention the financial strain of returning for a service that should have been completed correctly the first time.Adding to the frustration, the location appears to be severely understaffed, with only one employee assisting customers. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, the male staff member on site told me there was no one else available and that I would need to contact corporate.Unfortunately, my call to corporate was also unproductive. A representative named Kath informed me that in order to be refunded, I would need to submit a request for approvalafter I had already experienced multiple failed attempts at repair.Because of the recurring issues and poor service, I am formally requesting either a proper reinstallation of the tintusing new film that actually adheresor a full refund. If another repair is attempted, I ask that it be done without the long delays Ive already experienced during both the original installation and the second failed repair.This situation has been frustrating, disappointing, and reflects poorly on Jet Black Tints customer care and service standards. I ask that this matter be addressed promptly and professionally. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and advise me of the next steps.

      I came to have the tint on my windshield removed and replaced on 11.09.24 at the ******** location. I paid $385 for the service. The worker used a steamer to remove the tint and in the process damaged my dashboard beyond repair and now has to be replaced. The manager, ****, admitted they messed up and assured me they will take care of it. When **** told his boss about this situation, ******, he didn't want to use his insurance because he doesn't want his premium to increase or get kicked out of his policy. I got him quotes to have it replaced, and he said the prices were too high. He suggested i go to one of his preferred upholstery shops because he gets a discount. I told him that is called steering and I don't trust them with my car. I even offered to pay for some of the cost so i can go to the upholstery shop of my choice which cost $4000. I offered to pay $1500 and he pay $2500. so I'm taking 45% of the cost and he takes 55% of the cost. It has been over a month now, and he still refuses to pay the compromised price of $2500 to have my dashboard replaced when he should be paying the full amount of $4000.

      On October 6, 2024, I visited Jet Black Tint of ********* to have 15% tint applied to all windows of my vehicle. The total cost of the service was $772.40.After the initial installation, I noticed foggy, cloudy windows with dirt and debris bubbles on every window, making it difficult to see, especially at night. My vehicle is brand new, so the windows should be crystal clear. Due to my dissatisfaction, I posted a negative review on Yelp.When I returned to address the issue, manager **** kept my car from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and admitted that his staff scratched my front windshield. He asked me to wait two days for the tint to dry and bring the vehicle back to replace the windshield tint. During this visit, **** also asked me to take down my Yelp review, saying he would reinstall the tint. Hoping for a resolution, I complied.Two days later, the bubbling issue persisted. When I tried to return, **** was unavailable for three days, forcing me to wait another week. He then promised to help me get a refund and follow up but never called. It has now been over a month, and he has not responded to my calls or messages left on his ****** Voice number.This situation has caused inconvenience, financial loss, and dissatisfaction. I am seeking BBB assistance to secure a refund for this poor service.

      I was quoted $319 for a "Black Friday special" for ceramic tint on the side/rear windows ($119 for their 'in-house brand') and $200 for the windshield. Upon arrival, *****, the owner, immediately stated the quote from their generic call-center was for a low-quality in-house brand with poor heat rejection compared to their 'premium' Solar Gard films. They used a "heat rejection lamp" display to falsely claim the in-house film was ceramic.The actual total for quality films was $650, $707 out the doormore than double the quoted price. While I wanted quality films and went ahead, this shouldve been red flag #1.The tint job was decent but sloppy. Afterward, I photographed trash, debris, adhesive, and water leakage near the drivers side. Even the warranty brochure they gave me was dirty. At home, I noticed smudges and marks on my paint where they had no reason to touch. Worse, they CHIPPED THE PAINT on my nearly brand-new car (***** miles). The chip, below the drivers door window, reached the primer and showed a downward motionmaking it impossible to be a rock *********** from the dealership and truck delivery confirmed no pre-existing damage. Two body shops analyzed the chip, both stating it was fresh and likely caused during the tint job. Repair quotes range from $2,500-$5,000. ***** denied wrongdoing and refused to share install footage.This shop pulled a bait-and-switch, doubled my quoted price, damaged my car, and denied all responsibility. Avoid at all costs.

      This place use shade business practice bait and switch. They scammed me $400 and the workmanship was terrible. I ask for a refund or redo and they refused.

      I had purchased 2 vouchers for full service tints on Dec 1, 2022. I went in to claim it June of this year and they said my voucher is no longer valid. They stated that I can only use the money I paid toward a full price service and I couldnt use it as credit toward a discounted service. They are still selling the same voucher online, but it is now $99 and they state in their ads that it is valid for 2 years. I do not understand why my voucher cannot also be honored just because it was a lower price point.

      So i brought a brand new car 200mi car into this shop for ceramic tints all around. This cost roughly $600 plus tax. My appointment was for 11:15. I did not get the car back until 5-6pm. I didnt mind the time at first since i was hoping that if i didn't rush them the job would be done properly with no issues. How WRONG i was. Since this was a BRAND NEW car I know to thoroughly inspect it before and after i bring it to a shop. As i received it back i did a walk around and noticed that there was a scratch on the rear fender. At first i was wondering how this happened. I did notify the manager and they did acknowledge it and said they were going to check their cameras since they said it was constantly recording. i also noticed that there were ton of grease marks and stains on the outside of the windows which I understand since it was a frameless window and they had to support while applying. Mind you they did not clean it afterwards. So i brought home the car around 6 pm, grabbed a brand new towel with windex to clean the windshield due to greasy dirty fingers and This is where I noticed the DEEP scratch on the back windshield. This damage was right is at the point where they tried to clean the back windshield but could not completely reach. These 2 damages I believe were caused because 1) the worker was leaning on the car to reach to wipe the back windshield which caused a scratch on the rear driver fender. 2) scratching the back windshield with a dirty towel or something sharp. These 2 were noted to the manager within a day. So, not only were there bubbles in the tint itself, but gaps within the tint installation also damaged the car.

      Took my car in this past Saturday and was quoted 2.5 to 3 hours for my windshield and 1 quarter panel. 6 hour later they did not touch the quarter panel and the windshield was peeling on 70% of the edges. Have to call 10+ times to even get a status updates. Took it back the next day and told them to give me a good time quote so I can plan my day. I said if you need all day, fine. Let me know. They promised 3 hours. 4 hours later they are not returning calls or answering phones. Finally got though after 10+ calls again. Manager said I'm with a client can I call you back in 5-10 minutes. I said ok. 45 minutes later no call so I call back.they said ok your car is ready and cleaned. Drove up there. The car was still in their bay. Glue and sticky stuff everywhere.

      I placed the order July 25th and was told August 24th they sent the static window tint and never did according to *** Tracking. At this point all I want is a refund for my money.
