Misleading and dishonest company. They are quick to misdiagnose and provide medication recklessly. I still havent found the help needed, I have no insurance and I am a ********** household but the services provided have done more harm than anything. In the month of November I had received notification that We made a final attempt to process your payment and then Cerebral proceeded to charge my card days after. ********************* can continue to charge is the only information I received from the associate on the phone. I am a ********** household who was waiting until 12/1 to utilize my *** funds through my employer to attempt another month with a different provider in hopes I would hear more than an inaccurate diagnosis. The associate over the phone tried to explain a subscription agreement to me, the chat support had also been extending time to respond after two business days to ensure this would be drawn out as long as possible. When a notification is provided stating it is a final attempt they are no longer allowed to attempt your payment method in regards to that notification, be sure to reach out to your bank to file a chargeback as this voids their ability to request payment through that payment method until manually attempted again. Please do not use this service, it is not beneficial!! Between the medication spiraling me into a worse state and the charge to my card AFTER claiming they had made a final attempt, the services have been nothing but a hassle and worse off on my well being.Cerebral

Regarding our billing structure, upon registering with us, you do consent to have your payment method billed beginning on the date of registration, and thereafter every month while the account is active.I see that you did receive several notices for failed payments. If a payment doesn't go through, we will try again until it works and if your payment is more than 27 days late, your account will be canceled. In the notice you received from our payment processor, it does also state, "Well try to process your payment once more. Your account will be canceled if that payment fails." It looks like your $95 subscription fee failed on the following dates: 11/16/24, 11/17/24 and 11/21/24, and was successful on 11/28/24. We are unfortunately unable to offer a refund to you at this time, as you did utilize services for the month of November and missed a visit with your prescriber. While I see that your account is currently scheduled for cancellation, please know that we encourage clients to meet with their clinicians one last time prior to leaving Cerebral, if possible. Your clinician would be more than willing to discuss any medication concerns with you. As of now, your account is scheduled to cancel on 12/16/24. I logged on the first time to speak to *************************************. I told her that I was getting a divorce because I realized that I wasn't compatible with my husband and there was verbal abuse after 6-7 months of marriage (the marriage was 1 year and 3 monthes). She said verbal abuse *would* escalate to physical (sometimes sexual) abuse. All I said was that I was seeking a divorce due to some verbal abuse. She scared me into believing that I may become homeless (!) and that the situation would probably escalate to where he is beating me, sending me to the hospital, and "killing me". This was needless scaring, and I didn't need to hear this literal c*** when I'm going through a divorce. I got off the phone without completing the full session. I was only seeking assistance with having my cats as emotional support animals. I did not ask for this needless scaring that I would possibly need to enter a domestic violence shelter just because I am seeking a divorce from my husband.Cerebral

Be very careful when using this service. Cerebral is very predatory with its pricing I tried to sign up only for the monthly price for combined therapy/psychiatry services to increase from $305/month to $365/month because I was no longer eligible for the special price offered to our lead customers (a vague and nonsensical reason). If you choose to go with Cerebral for therapy, triple check all charges to make sure you are not being scammed like I almost was.Cerebral

Cerebral has charged me 4 times for ***** each, totaling ******. Despite the fact that I requested a full refund the very first month and for all charges to be stopped. They charged me for 3 additional months. I never saw a Doctor and I never had any prescriptions written. An employee by the name of ******* agreed to refund me, if I validated my email. I validated my email, only for another employee, *******, to deny me the refund I was already promised and then refused to transfer me to a supervisor. There's reviews all over the internet of Cerebral doing this. No service will be used, they will continue charging people and refuse to refund them. This is fraud. With the amount of people reporting the exact same situation, there is absolutely nothing else that I can refer to it as.Cerebral

I used their services almost a year ago. I used only a handful of sessions as I did not like the therapist they gave me- at all. I Paid for the sessions AT THE **** OF USE- and now 8 months later, they just started randomly taking my money from my account- without any contact with me. They said they would send invoices- however they haven't contacted me at all - they just started taking my money. They are refusing to give it back and will not stop taking money. For a 'supposed mental health' group, this is such blatantly predatory behavior- not to mention being fraudulent and completely unethical. When I called them, they gave me ZERO answers and told me they couldn't and wouldn't help and there was no-one there that would help- they have no supervisors and no managers that would respond. They ran in circles til I got off the phone. Disgusting behavior from a company that seems to be targeting the people they are supposed to be helping.Cerebral

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Absolute predator and taking advantage of those seeking help. I signed up and paid over $300 and promptly canceled after my first appointment and asked for a refund. Prior to my first appointment, I was told (in writing and had to agree) that the "therapist" was in training and working on completing her 100 hours and was working under another therapist. I thought "great! we can help each other out!" When I asked her if I was her second hour or 98th hour to break the ice, she said "Oh, I finished my hours years ago." She actually finished school in 2011 and was still waiting to take the test to be licensed. She hadn't had time and was going to work on herself in ****. I'm sorry...WHAT? So you finished school 12 years ago, have completed your hours and are now just practicing without a license?? When I went to support, of course, I was told there would be no refund, and was told that all their therapists are licensed or credentialed....NOT TRUE! Make sure if you use this company that you ask your therapist to see their actual license. I'm still going back and forth with them and actually ready to call a lawyer. Shame on them!Cerebral

I was charged $99 every month since I signed up in February 2023 even though I never received any services after my initial service. in *********** that I did receive was not helpful and I could not understand the person that was assigned to me. Cerebral is a scam; they send you additional charges months after they provide a service. I was on a $325 plan for eight months. I had to stop the service because I could not afford it anymore. I will have paid $7829 for a service that was advertised for $2600. I still owe $ ***** in surprise charges that came months after the provided service. They also refuse to provide detailed invoices. Do not use them. Local Psychologists offer remote counseling. Support your local businesses.Cerebral

After reading all of the other reviews here I think it is clear that the company is actively engaging in fraud with its charging of customers. I cancelled service and they told me I had to pause for 3 months and then would receive a reminder 14 days before it started back up on 8/16/2023. I never had any intention of renewing but didnt want to cause a fuss. I never received any reminder as told. Then today, on 8/14/2023, they attempted to charge my card and sent me emails hounding me to pay it immediately when it did not go through. Thank god it didnt or Im almost certain from other reviews I would never get the money back. I have all the screen shots of them laying out the dates and then switching things up on me. This is not the first instance of dodgy practices around payment. My therapist was promoted and no longer able to see me unless it was every other week, which was fine with me as it matched my progress. I was told it was not usually an option but I would get a special rate of 50% for half the sessions, only to be told later that it was not a full 50%, just discounted, so a price hike for a service change I was forced into. My therapist also was out of town for multiple weeks during different months and I was to receive a reduced rate for that month, however it required me to follow up with multiple different avenues of contact with the company before it was ever actually applied. Stay away from this company.Cerebral
