On May 30, 2024, I drove from *********, ** to Dodge Jeep **************************** in West Covina, ** to purchase a vehicle. I communicated thru text and phone calls with ****** the sales representative. It was Memorial Day weekend and I asked ****** about holiday discounts, and I am a veteran. The text stated the vehicle price after taxes and fees would be $60,515. Once I arrived at the dealership, my girlfriend and I were sitting at the table and the sales representative agreed to the price as stated in the text. Unfortunately, I was charged roughly $82,000 for the vehicle. I did not notice the switch of the price on the contract and the contract was given to me on a thumb drive. I did not look at the thumb drive until I returned to ********* the next day. This a bait and switch deceptive tactic. I emailed the ** to resolve this issue and of course no communication.

On January 3rd 2024, I was called by a dealership in West Covina asking if I would be so kind to help my grandma and co-sign for a vehicle. They assured me that I was just a co-signer and that I would be able to remove my name from the account after maximum 6 months or less of my grandma making payments on time. I agreed. I was given no further necessary information. I was just told I should be expecting a dealership representative to deliver the contract to my house to have me sign in a few hours. I asked for them to just mail it or if I could come in to review the contract in person, however they insisted to just bring it to me that day, as they had my address already. When the representative, *******************, showed up to my house, he could provide no specific details about the deal and I would have to contact the dealership ** for further info. I made sure to read through the pages as much as possible, but the rep was continuously talking during the meeting almost as a distraction. My Grandma's name was on this contract as well. The contract had no info about the amount of money owed for the lease of this car or the interest rate of the loan we were approved for. Before the rep left I made sure to get his name and number. I called the dealership a few times through the month of Jan to get a copy of the contract and a few more details I was missing, only to get the run-around each time and an assurance I would get contacted by the ** soon to ***** my requests. In about a months time I receive calls, emails, and letters from the finance company asking me where my payment for February is. This is when I find out that only my name is on this auto loan. To make matters worse, I receive mail from the insurance company the dealer used to insure the car just to be driven off the lot, and only my name was on that as well. They let my ********************************************************* my name, that she was never insured to drive. This dealer put me at severe risk.

On September 13,2023 My family and I took a trip to ************* dealership because we saw on their website they had a 2021 Dodge Durango on sale for $51,000 , we wanted to make a deal with doing a trade in with our 2018 Dodge Durango. They offered through Carfax $20,000 and out of that $8,581 was still owed to Chase as a payoff, they also made us get a paint protection plan from ****** that cost over $9,000 that totaled the vehicle price at $68,319 so if you buy a vehicle please make sure that the price that is said online is the price at the dealership and make sure to bring it up and check before signing, they were so quick with everything that we failed to realize all this. Another problem is that It is now 10/9/2023 this dealership has still not sent any check of the pay off amount and loan to be closed to Chase, the due date for the next payment was 10/6/2023 and it is now 3 days over. I spoke to *** in the finance department on 9/28/23 and he did not know why ***** still had not received the payoff, that he would send an email to the business office who was in charge of all payoffs and to call him back before 5pm because thats when they closed. I called back as said around 4:30pm and he stated that he never received a response from the office, that he did not know when the payoff would be sent or paid but that it would eventually get there. I also asked for said information of the office so I can call for myself and he said he did not have the phone number to give. I also notice that the car I put for trade in was for sale on the website 2 days after the transaction was done for $31,000, when I called to ask why the vehicle was for sale when they have yet to send any payoff and why everything was taking so long when they stated it would only take **** business days, after later I noticed it was no longer on the website so I dont know if they sold the vehicle. We also have an agreement with the dealership that they are supposed to fix the front lower bumper, when I called on 9/23/23 the parts department said there was no orders given or placed for said parts, so ****** from the service department said she placed the order again because it looked like someone had cancelled the order and it would arrive by Wednesday and we still have not heard regarding anything of this situation.

I purchased a truck on 12 09 2022 from this dealer. when i traded in my car they told me and put in the contract that the payoff was $7,742. the actual amount of the payoff was $7,483.45. the difference owed to me is $258.55. I wait for four months an no check was sent to me so I called several times to contact finance an every time I was transferred the recording would come on and say voice box full. I finally got the name of the person in finance, His name is *** and when I finally got him I told him what happened an he said he would look into it and mail me a check that day. I waited a month and no check. called several times again and finally got to him. he said since I was calling again that I must have not got the check. He asked me to send him a copy of the payoff and he would take care of it. I have called an text him and he will not take my call. I have a copy of all documentation. I feel this is common practice for this business not to refund what is owed after reading reviews online. the sales people was ***** and ***. Purchase was made on 12/9/22 and it is now 5/06/23 and no check, phone call or communication from the dealer

on November 7th I traded in my 2008 ************* for a 2019 ************. The Dealer accepted my trade in as down payment with no money down to purchase the vehicle. I was qualified for an $800 car payment and was told that my current lender was carrying over the loan over on to the new vehicle. After a month goes by, I receive no information regarding my vehicle's registration or a bill to make the first payment. I contacted the dealership many times to ask questions and never received a call back. During this time I was receiving letters in the mail from finance companies letting me know my credit was ran from the dealership and was rejecting me. I didn't think much of this due to knowing they ran my credit in order to purchase the vehicle. I also was getting letters in regards to my old vehicle that I turned in stating that I was behind on payments and that it was in default in getting repossessed. This affected my credit scores drastically. When looking at Experian I noticed they ran my credit 29 times. After over a month of trying to get ahold of a manager, *****, the General ********, called informed me that I need to return the vehicle or give them a $6,000 down payment in order for me to keep my vehicle. He was very unprofessional and kept yelling because I kept asking for further information. He kept cursing about the finance department that he fired and preceded to tell me how there was 30 fraudulent cars sold including mine and how he could not get me financed. He eventually said that he will work with me if I gave him a check post dated for $1500 to be deposited on January 2nd. He then send a sales representative to my home in order to retrieve this check and sign a new contract that I never received copy of and was advised by ***** that it would be the same contract as before just different car payment that was then raised to $1000. Since then Ive had warranty issues with my vehicle. I was under the impression that I was able to take my car to any dealership to get it serviced, but upon arrival the advisor informed me that the dealership sold me a thirst party warranty that is only good for their dealership. My car is in need of serious repairs and is sitting at Champion Dodge in ****** awaiting approval from the dealer where I purchased the vehicle to release the warranty to work on the repairs of the vehicle. Due to this dealers negligence I have bad credit and a vehicle that is not safe to drive with a $1000 car payment.

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership about 10 months ago. The warranty was explained to me as 100k miles past the current mileage. The vehicle recently started having an issue, when I called the maintenance department they told me my warranty was expired. I reviewed my contract, it was put down that the warranty was 100k miles or 60 months from manufacturer date not date of purchase. So, my vehicle is a 2014, meaning I was charged $3200 for a warranty that expired a couple years before I even purchased it. Over the course of a month I have been trying to get a hold of someone to get this problem fixed with no luck. They ignore me and don't return my calls.

We leased our Jeep from this dealer back in June of 2018. The lease was up and we wanted to keep the Jeep so we went into the dealer to process the paperwork early June 2022. All went well and we were off. The DMV tags on the Jeep were due at the end of June so we tried to process online with DMV. We weren't able to process and had to visit the DMV. We were told at the DMV that the old bank who held the lease on the Jeep hasn't submitted the paperwork yet so we called the Dealer and left a message for the Finance lady who helped us. a few days passed and we called again with no call back. My husband then visited the dealer and spoke to the GM who assured him that this would be resolved and issued us Temp Plates. Here we are in July and again no one calls us back and we have to once again drive to the dealer where we get the run around. We are told 2 more weeks that the old bank lost the title and its going to take 2 weeks and we are told the DMV clerk has really messed things up and changes in that department were made so my husband says ok see you in 2 weeks. He then gets a call from the GM at the dealer and is told the DMV investigators were there on 7/28 looking into many of these issues for other customers.
