Do not order from this company!!! I tried to cancel an order and they refused to let me cancel it. They shipped it anyway. Then they wanted me to pay $200 to ship it back to them. I had to dispute the order with my credit card company. They are a nightmare. Don't do it!!! They have terrible customer service.Houzz

There is no options for zero stars so i will have to give one.After a Dozen tickets submitted with problems some in the same day with issues ranging from:* There are ongoing issues with scheduling meetings.* The calendar issues that were previously mentioned as being addressed are still present. This is impacting my workflow to the point where I've had to revert to paper scheduling.* I'm finding that the Houzz Pro platform, despite its cost, is only delivering a fraction of its advertised capabilities.* I was sold products by *** that I cannot utilize, and the sales approach felt very pushy.* There are products advertised on your website that seem unavailable, and when questioned, Houzz has not honored the advertised offerings.* On several occasions, support chats have been prematurely closed by representatives.*The 3D modeling that is advertised is clunky and produces imagery that could be done by a highschooler.This is a small list of the problems.The worse is **** my onboarding "specialist" is very unhelpful and every time i suggest to cancel the subscription he say there is nothing he can do. I am writing a review about the Houzz Pro program. I am an experienced remodeling contractor that has made a mistake trusting the Houzz company to be able to furnish industry standard client job leads for my business as stated on their website. Generating professional leads to contractors is their business.I am now cancelling my subscription for their lack of complying with their platform that states that their company provides leads for the purpose of joining a client and a contractor together to perform a remodeling or repair service for an individual on their home. In the last 3 months I have received approximately 9 leads for the sum of $2,400.00 dollars. This equates to paying about $267.00 per lead. This amount is much more than any industry standard lead generating service company that is currently providing this same service to contractors. In the month of April have not received any leads to date - 4.24.2025. This complaint is the start of several complaints and possible lawsuit that I will be placing in an attempt to stop companies like Houzz from stealing from other honest contractors with their platform.***** l. ******Houzz

Although I appreciate the response from Houzz it doesnt change the lack of overall effort to provide any amount of project leads that would be commensurate with the platform that Houzz states it provides to contractors. The facts are just the facts when it pertains to their non performance with providing leads and any type of support staff. My company has had to literally pursue them many times to even have a member of Houzz answer an email or phone call. Their website states that one of their goals is to bring their clients and their contractors together for one goal. To link the client in the form of a lead to be sent to a contractor. They fail continuously to provide any services in the form of leads or guidance that would be considered an industry standard for their platform and years of business. I depended on them for a main lead generating service based on their sales staff and the false promises made by their sales staff during phone conversations and emails at the beginning of our relationship. I havent even received a signed copy of an agreement from them to date. I have been forced to cancel our relationship due to their lack of caring and non compliance to perform even up to a minimum standard for providing leads. They are trying to punish contractors in order to try and force us to keep paying them while not receiving any good vetted leads. I hope that they will stop harassing my company and just accept the fact that they made many mistakes. I thank the BBB for having a platform to be able to show many contractors throughout the industry how much Houzz does not perform but tries to take money from people who trusted them and did not get the type of service that that state they provide. Houzz is a nightmare . I have been part of their Houzz pro program for 5 years and it has gotten worse every year. The past two years they have doubled my cost and charged my card without permission. I have called them a total of 12 times and emailed a total of ******************************************************************* It is a very BAD idea to do business with Houzz. I advise it best to stay as far away from them as you can. I will be using other platforms to market my business and will not have a single good thing to say about Houzz. They seem to be a scam business.Houzz

I don't even want to do one star. Horrible customer management for ********************** Pro. I used Houzz Pro for my design service. They automatically renew your subscription WITHOUT sending any notification. They claim they do via email but I don't delete any emails - spam or otherwise. This has now happened TWICE where they 1. renew my subscription without any warning; 2. increase the annual rate to an obscene amount. I've asked to speak to the customer service manager. Do not purchase anything from them, they will con you out of your money!I've purchased a bed from Houzz for $771, and the fabric was nothing like in the picture, very cheap, plastic feeling fabric which was supposed to be "velvet". Naturally I emailed them to return this item. Well guess what? The return shipping fee - what they call it - is $376, which is 48% of the total price! It is a total con. Of course this is their restocking fee, but their return policy states that there is a return shipping fee. They should have a class action suit against them and put out of business. Never buying from them again, EVER!Houzz

Thank you, however your Terms and Conditions do not state that you will charge a 48.7% return fee, in fact does not state any percentage. Your tactic of calling it a "Standard Return" and charging 48.7% is simply defrauding customers and lying about your fees. So no, your return policy is not about shipping fees at all, it is about a ridiculously high restocking fee.For one last time, I request to pay only $100 for the shipping fee, which is generous. Don't join houzz!!!!! It's a money pit and there is zero support. I've been on houzz 15 years and have never gotten a single good lead from them, but kept going because they convinced me I needed it for "visibility". Good thing my website is great as I have a waitlist. But houzz is zero help.And I want to WARN EVERYONE ABOUT HOUZZ: they make it impossible to cancel on line (!!!!) You have to get permission from their subscription team and no one will call me back.I have made the decision to go in to cancel my debit card so they can't bill me anymore. It's a huge time waste, but I have no choice. They won't call me back; they won't respond to the online chat in any helpful way except to say "I've sent your case on the a subscription team person", but then I never hear ******* so-called "pro advisor" is always a no-show at EVERY SINGLE SCHEDULED MEETING. She is a ************** yourself a ton of stress and don't join houzz. Bottom line: I do NOT recommend them (they used to be good 10 years ago) and think they are a money pit, or at least have been for me.Houzz

I was brought on with lots of hope and promise, then the initial sales lady vanished as soon as I signed, Literally the next day never responded again to my onboarding questions when she explicitly said she would be there to help.The software *****, it is very limited and is barely helpful at generating any kind of reports, customization and so on. I was paying $3-400 for "marketing" service, and that turned out to generate 3-5 leads over 6 months, and we have an excellent online presence with perfect reviews, so its not us its them. To top it off, when I asked for reduction or anything as a help for not providing me with actually results they empathized then said no and changed the subject. THEN after that, slap me in the face and remove my "discount" because I wanted to keep the original 12 month commitment and not change it, because I updated it 2 months later to get a batter package. Now they are saying the original contract can't be honored unless the full price is charge which is just 100% a game of slime and attrition. These people need to worry for their souls. Malicious business is never excusable!Houzz
