Overall horrible experience!! They procrastinate and never get anything done and keep charging your account. I was working with T*** for 2 months and he got nothing accomplished with my case and my accounts got levied. They never answer when you need to speak with someone and have the “don’t call me I’ll call you”mentally. Stay far way from this company!!

PLEASE READ FULL COMPANY RESPONSE: Tax Response Center (TRC) differs from traditional tax relief companies. Clients become members with TRC by paying a small monthly membership. When a new member signs on, we follow a 3-step tax repair process to determine the best way to resolve their tax debt. Step 1: We review all information the IRS/State has on the client. Step 2: We evaluate the clients’ financials. Step 3: We determine the best resolution program, which is based on IRS/State rules and regulations, for the client. Basically, we do the work first so we can guarantee our results, and only charge a small monthly membership, versus traditional companies who charge $3,000 to $4,000 up front on a promise of something that “might” happen. Mr. A****(client) became a member with TRC on 2.8.24. TRC followed the 3-step process. Step 1: Client hired TRC for IN and IL State Cases. TRC completed Step 1 for each agency. IN: Client owed approximately $10,000 to IN. Client has not paid his taxes for every year since 2011. That’s 11 years in a row of not paying taxes. In addition, 2022 and 2023 were not filed and required to be filed. Assigned to a collection agency. IL: Client owed approximately $6,000 to IL for the years 2015, 2016, and 2017. 2018 and forward were not filed, but they were not required to be filed with IL. Assigned to a collection agency. TRC spoke with client about the missing IN tax returns and client said he will try and look for his returns and respond back to TRC. TRC suggested client to send a signed/dated copy of the returns to TRC so TRC can mail them into IN to make sure they get filed. Step 2: Client sent back the financial statement and supporting documents. TRC completed the financial evaluation. Step 3: Based on Step 1 and Step 2, client qualified for an IA for both IN and IL. However, IN requires at least 2022 to be filed in order to have an IA granted. TRC stressed the importance of getting 2022 filed ASAP. Client called and stated his bank account was levied by IN. TRC asked about his 2022 return and client said he filed it a few days ago but forgot to tell TRC. TRC explained to client that was the specific information needed to try and stop IN from collecting on him. TRC just spoke with client a few days prior and client said he was working on getting the 2022 return sent to TRC. Client blamed TRC for the bank levy. TRC tried to explain to client that him not paying his taxes for 11 straight years, and poor communication with TRC, is the real reason he got levied. Client was already in collections and missing required years well before hiring TRC. Client requested his case to be cancelled and TRC honored his request. TRC followed their 3-step process accordingly. TRC staff follow proper and ethical protocol with each case. TRC understands having tax debt is difficult and challenging. TRC also understands many of our clients are in financial hardship, hence why we charge small monthly membership fees vs. $3,000 - $4,000 up front. We verify all the information FIRST so we can guarantee our results. We treat all our clients professionally and expect the same in return. Client’s case is closed.

****** S In this kind of field - the Company takes alot of ABUSE - People come to them in deep Tax Trouble - so they take it out on the very 'hand that they want fed'?? Doesn't work that way. Hello -Your working with a BUSINESS, these People have taken IRS Certification-Passed all parts of the Exam & Background Checks. Don't forget what they REPRESENT! They hold "FEDERAL RECOGNITION" & have a "TAX ID" (PTIN) preparer tax identification to do business & is the same in every State. They are Not your 'friend-You can Yell, be Rude &/or Abuse" for Your Own Mistake(s)! You have to show RESPECT, Courtesy & be 'Grateful With Patience'! MY EXPERIENCE WITH 'TONY G******** & PETER O***** was EXCELLENT! They were Accommodating, & Meticulous in the Process they take-so it is done Right the 1st Time. It is not a "Quick Fix game"-this is a SERIOUS ENDEAVOR. They take Pride in being thorough as it is a reflection on their business & how they operate with the IRS. It amazes me people complaining Don't consider they are "Not the only ones & want special attention now'-w/IRS is after Me!" "Attitude"-taking it out on these QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS by showing Great Disrespect! Remember - they didn't 'come to You' - You 'came to them'. THEY ARE THE BOSSES, with the EXPERIENCE to Help YOU; they have the HARD WORK IN FRONT OF THEM!- Cut them some Slack. Taking your Problem out on them by Cutting them down, Pushing, Hissing & Defaming them Only makes You Look Bad & makes their Job Harder (delays complaining). Let them Do their Job Their Way & have Trust - RESPECT, PATIENCE & PROFESSIONAL COURTESY DOES.

Tony Gagliardo was very rude. I left messages asking if all my paperwork had been filed. I was told it had, but I received a letter from the IRS informing me that my paperwork had not been filed on time. Also, when I would ask for an update on my account, I was told to be patient and not to continue to contact them. I would be told if there was progress and not to keep contacting them for updates. When I called about the letter I received< I left a message and sent an email. The response to my email was to send the letter I received from the IRS. Then, he called. I told him I got the email and would send the letter when I got home. He told me it was going to take a while to deal with the government. He has been doing this for 22 years. It is not a fast process. I said ok and hung up. He called back repeatedly, so I picked up and said hello. He yelled did you just hang up in my face. I said I hung up because the conversation was over. He went on a tantrum screaming about being professional. I said right because it is very professional to call someone back because you felt your feelings were hurt for them hanging up. I said I was working and did not appreciate the repetitive calls to which he responded I was not their client anymore. Basically, your company has taken over $1000 from me and not done anything productive. Sadly, I had better luck calling the IRS directly and speaking with the representative assigned to my case. The guy was very informative and helped me get my paperwork in order, told me exactly what I needed to send back, and how to file the forms. Thsi company is a joke, just like Mr. Tony Gagliardo.

TRC has now implemented additional protective sections in their subscription agreements to take appropriate actions if a client exhibits behaviors that could possibly create hostile working environments for their employees. Such behaviors include, but are not limited to, unprofessional, disrespectful, belligerent, and/or rude behavior. TRC created their service so the millions of taxpayers who can’t afford $3,000 to $4,000 upfront, now have an option to get tax relief help. Because the total cost is a lot lower, it doesn’t give any client the right to behave in such a manner. Basically, we do the work first so we can guarantee our results, and only charge a small monthly membership, versus traditional companies who charge $3,000 to $4,000 up front on a promise of something that “might” happen. Ms. R*******(client) became a member with TRC on 7.5.23. TRC followed the 3-step process. Step 1: Client first hired TRC for an AL State case only. TRC completed Step 1 and the client had a balance of $3500 for the 2021 year. 2022 was not filed and client was in queue for AL collections. TRC staff reviewed AL State information with client and client immediately yelled and was completely disrespectful towards TRC staff. Client thought TRC was working on her IRS case only. TRC staff explained that according to the recorded initial conversation with TRC, she requested TRC work her AL State case. Client refused to acknowledge the recording, would not listen to it, and demanded TRC work her IRS case. Client became even more belligerent towards TRC staff stating the staff member was “incompetent” and “worthless.” TRC staff, still, proceeded to work client’s IRS case only. TRC completed Step 1 for the IRS case. Client owed over $15,400 for the 2021 year. TRC staff reviewed this information with the client and stated TRC can now move to Step 2. Step 2: Client sent back the financial statement and supporting documents. TRC completed the financial evaluation. Step 3: Based on Step 1 and Step 2, client qualified for the Offer in Compromise (OIC) program. TRC reviewed this information with the client and the small processing fee required for TRC to facilitate the OIC. OIC was submitted to IRS and IRS received it beginning of Dec 2023. A few weeks later the IRS sent a letter requesting estimated tax payments (ETP) for the current year. IRS makes it very clear that taxpayers cannot continue to owe and not pay when an OIC is in review. ETP are required, unless the taxpayer can prove he/she will not owe that coming year. Client provided a mock 2023 tax return showing no balances will be due. TRC provided that information to the IRS in mid Jan, when TRC received it from the client. Client left a voicemail that she received a letter form IRS stating the IRS is missing information. TRC staff requested the letter to be sent to TRC to review and respond. TRC staff also explained that “missing information” is common with OIC reviews, and the IRS may request additional financial supporting documents multiple times. Client immediately requested her case to be closed and hung up the phone on TRC staff. TRC staff called the client back and asked why she hung up the phone. Client responded, “I thought it was silly to hang up on you. Were your feelings hurt?” Client hung up the phone again when TRC staff was trying to explain the process and requested client to remain professional. This behavior is completely unacceptable. TRC has licensed professionals that represent taxpayers in front of federal and state governments. TRC will not represent any client that behaves in such a manner.

Well, there’s not much I can say about T***. He did much more than I ever thought could be done. He’s extremely professional all he asks is that you follow his instructions and he will put a smile on your face. I highly recommend him and would recommend no one else. I owed major six figures couple hundred thousand he got me an offer in compromise to settle in full removing all federal lanes for $804. If that’s not a big enough incentive to reach out to him I don’t know what is again not only a great guy, but so on top of each and everyone of his clients And always gives fair time to everyone. Thanks again T***. God bless you. You truly have been a blessing. Thank you B****

Tax Response Center (TRC) differs from traditional tax relief companies. Clients become members with TRC by paying a small monthly membership. When a new member signs on, we follow a 3-step process to determine the best way to resolve their tax debt. Step 1: We review all information the IRS/State has on the client. Step 2: We evaluate the clients’ financials. Step 3: We determine the best resolution program, which is based on IRS/State rules and regulations, for the client. Basically, we do the work first so we can guarantee our results, and only charge a small monthly membership, versus traditional companies who charge $2,000 to $5,000 up front on a promise of something that “might” happen. Ms. C********(Client) became a member with TRC 10.6.22 for an IRS and AZ State case. TRC followed our 3-step process correctly. Step 1: TRC verified client owed over $17,000 to the IRS, all required tax returns filed up to date, and client was in Currently Non-Collectible (CNC) status. TRC verified client did not have any balances with AZ and all required tax returns were filed. TRC spoke with client and she said she made a mistake and has an issue with CA State, not AZ. The AZ notice she received was not for her, but for her daughter. TRC verified client owed over $7,000 to CA and she had defaulted on a prior Installment Agreement (IA) with CA. This is turn put her CA case in the collections division with CA. Step 2: TRC evaluated client’s financials. Step 3: TRC determined client was already in the best resolution program with the IRS, CNC. TRC was able to drop the client’s membership down to a single taxing agency membership. TRC determined client qualified for the hardship program for her CA case. This program is similar to CNC. However, TRC had to move quickly to prevent any sort of collection action CA may take against client. The 3 step process was completed in less than 3 months, even with the added time due to the client’s mistake regarding AZ vs CA. It took the client over 5 months to return the signed CA Hardship paperwork with the required supporting documents. As soon as TRC received the documents, the Hardship program was submitted to CA. Client was advised that CA may take 4-8 months to approve the program, sometimes longer. TRC tried to give client updates during the proceeding months only to leave voicemails or her voicemail was full. On 11.20.23, TRC received correspondence from CA. CA reviewed client’s bank statements which showed high ending balances through 2022 and 2023. CA requested clarification as to what those funds were used for and why client didn’t pay any money back to CA. TRC spoke with client and client denied ever having those ending bank balances. TRC emailed client the bank statements with her name on the bank account. Client still denied ever having the money. TRC tried to explain to client that CA will go off the bank statements and not take a taxpayer’s word on it. Client stated she would review her statements to email TRC. In less than 48 hours, client called and text repeatedly, not allowing our standard 48-hour response time to return her call. Client’s messages were completely unprofessional, berating TRC staff. All along not answering or clarifying the high ending balances. Before TRC staff can contact client, she had already requested to be cancelled immediately. TRC tried to communicate with her, but her voicemail was full, again. TRC has zero tolerance for unprofessional behavior from any client to TRC staff. TRC closed client’s case per her request. TRC followed exact tax protocol while working to resolve client’s tax issues with CA State. TRC follows a strict 3-step process so there is always a staff member to manage a client’s case. That’s the beauty of the program. With Ms. C********, TRC followed their 3-step process perfectly and followed CA State Rules and Regulations. Unfortunately for the client, she was not able to clarify why she had such high ending balances in her bank account.

I paid for their membership for over 6 months. And in the end he told me exactly what I knew from the beginning. The lady I first worked with said she will get my debt down. Then she was fired and then they never told me so I kept paying them for nothing getting done. After the 6 months they told me I could call the IRS and make a payment arrangement. That should have been them doing that since I was paying them. They did absolutely nothing for me. I even told them that I am on disability and cannot afford the membership fee every month. But they talked me into keeping it so they could get my amount to lowered. Worst scamming company ever!!!!

Ms. J*** (client) became a member with TRC on 12.21.22. TRC’s Membership Consultant’s (MC) follow a specific script that explains, in detail, how our 3-step tax repair process works, costs, and the benefits. They do not deter from the script. In fact, all of our phone calls are recorded, and management has reviewed all calls with client and all staff has followed their correct protocols. TRC does not promise, nor discuss, any type of resolution until the 3-step tax repair process is complete. Step 1: First, client hired TRC to help with an IL State Case, not IRS. TRC did not discuss any resolution with client regarding their IRS case. It took the client over 5 weeks to return the IL State tax power of attorney (POA). TRC completed Step 1 within 12 days. Client had several missing tax returns and a balance ($539) for the 2018 tax year. Out of all the missing tax returns, only the 2017 tax return was required to be filed. TRC discussed this with client and client stated she has a copy of her 2017 IL State tax return and will send it to TRC to submit to IL State. TRC immediately proceeded to Step 2 and sent a Personal Financial Statement (FS) to the client. It took the client over 5 weeks to return the FS. During these 5 weeks, TRC communicated with client multiple times regarding the update on the 2017 tax return. Each time, the client stated she will send it to TRC. Step 2: TRC completed a thorough evaluation. Step 3: TRC completed the determination and client qualified for an Installment Agreement (IA) with IL State. However, IL State would not accept the IA until the 2017 tax return is filed. This was discussed with client 10 days after we received the FS in March. Finally, after 4 months of frequent follow up communication, the client sent TRC the 2017 IL State tax return. TRC immediately sent it to IL State. Since this tax return had to be mailed in, it may take 30-90 days for IL State to fully process the return. Sometimes even longer. This was discussed with the client. On 10.18.23, TRC discussed the small IL State balance (a few hundred dollars) with the client. TRC stated that, since she is “now” in filing compliance, the easiest and most cost-effective way to resolve the small balance is to make payments right away on the IL State website. Client agreed and was happy that TRC guided her through this IL State issue without trying to charge thousands of dollars as other companies were quoting her. Client wanted to end her membership with TRC and TRC closed her case per her request. TRC is disappointed the client posted a low rating review. However, the above proves TRC did exactly what they were hired to do, resolved the client’s IL State issue, and saved the client thousands of dollars in fees. TRC understands having tax debt is difficult and challenging. TRC also understands many of our clients are in financial hardship, hence why we charge small monthly membership fees vs. $3,000 - $4,000 up front for false promises. We verify all the information FIRST so we can guarantee our results.
