We hired this medical billing to get paid for the hard work we do as primary care physicians. Billing complies get paid a percentage of collections. We realize we dont bring in as much money to them as higher paying specialties, but we expect a company to do the job they contractually agreed to do. We work hard for our livlihood. Its how we pay our bills, employees and care for our families. Weve had negligent billing companies before but this companys negligence hurt us financially in such a significant way for the first time in our practices history. We hired staff to overlook their work and basically do their job in following up on unpaid claims. Weve told them what they did wrong in billing and they still failed to correct the problems. Weve basically been doing their job for them in so many regards and they still couldnt get it right. They should not take on clients if they are unwilling and unable to do the work. A few months ago they told us they had a big new client coming on board who needed their attention so they would not be responding to our messages regarding ongoing issues with their failures in a timely manner. Weve since hired a new billing company but OCMB still has unfinished work for us. Theres still quite a bit of money on the table that we are due for our hard work. Weve already lost revenue due to negligence that we cannot recoup because of timely filing rules. Its unconscionable.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/11/2024

I called the BBB and asked if I need to respond and I was told NO.  This provider has said nothing true and I expect you to close this complaint immediately.  This is a HIPPA violation for you to be involved.  If this doesn't stop I will hire an attorney to get this unfounded claim closed with a settlement from the provider.  They never paid their last bill and I am owed thousands of dollars.

    Thank you,
