General Manager and Service Manager refused to help when I tried to get a refund for services not rendered. GM talked over me and said I was lucky to even talk with him.

They don't explain nothing correct They sold us a car that started showing issues the very next month and we mentioned it to their "service department " several times nothing got done fast forward 2 years later we have already fixed sooo many things and the "extended warranty " we purchase was useless they made our monthly payment go up to pay for this warranty that we never got to use . Then when we tried to remove it they say our payment will still be the same even though we took off the "warrant " PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE THEY ARE CON ARTISTS IN SUITES I'm looking for a lawyer to get what we deserve. 8/24/2024

I called Ocean Honda to make any appointment to see a particular car. The fleet manager had my cellphone number. He knew I was in route to see the car to purchase. He was already in process of selling it and did not inform me via text or call. He made drive all the way down there in traffic. The level of professionalism is all time low. No respect for ones time.

The service department at this dealer tried to charge me $1,200 for a problem that didn't exist. They are either highly incompetent or are purposely falsifying service reports. In either case STAY AWAY. In early July I noticed my Honda's ** wasn't blowing as cold as it should be. I was a week away from a road trip to *** where the forecast was 119F so I needed this taken care of asap.I take my car in on a Tuesday, at the end of day I pick it up and they say that my condenser was leaking, it was covered by warranty so they replaced it for free. My ** did start blowing cold again so I thought I was good. For the rest of the week I ran some local errands and the ** seemed fine. But on Saturday when I was on my road trip the ** stopped working. All weekend me, 3 adults and an 18 month baby were cooking in the *** heat because we had no **. I went back to the dealer 5 days later that Friday. They told me they found leaks in two hoses from the ** system and they need to be replaced for $1200. They insinuated I caused this by saying I was "probably running my ** hard all weekend" in ***.. what **? It wasn't working at all. No empathy just blaming **** was shocked and didn't want to make any decisions so I just picked up my car to think about it. I then went to another Honda dealer and within 3 hours they fixed it. And guess what.. it wasn't a leaky hose. They said the condenser was leaking and there were obvious oil spots all over it. There were no other leaks found in the system. I've tried calling Ocean Honda to get answer but they're always busy, tell me they'll call back but they don't call. So maybe they'll answer here. Did they ever replace my condenser in the first place? If there really were leaks in hoses why didn't they find them on my first visit? Why did the other dealer not find the leaks and diagnose the condenser as the only problem? Another time I paid for a tire rotation and noticed days later they never did it. Don't take your car here.

I bought my car from there back in 2016 because my uncle worked there at the time. I live in ******** so I haven't been back simply because it's too far, until recently. I received a mailer from them exclaiming "free oil change". In the fine print it says $50 value which is fine, I was prepared to pay a small amount. They proceeded to tell me the regular price for an oil change was $100 so I would still have to pay $50. When I asked why the one by my house only charges 50 something, it was "each one is independently owned" blah blah blah. The situation is abundantly clear. I would love to hear their price for someone who comes in off the street with no mailer for an oil change. This is a horrible slimy business practice and I wouldn't trust them to put gas in my car let alone anything else, needless to say I said nevermind and left. It leaves such a bad impression I don't think I I'll ever even consider buying a Honda again.
