Mega Solar installed a solar system at our home many months ago. We have no way of monitoring the system, or controlling it because they left without telling us how to do so. Their installers did not speak English, and *******************, the owner, said he would get back to us, but never has. We have called and emailed countless times. We need to know how to use our solar system online. We need to know the password and how to access the online system. The customer service is nonexistent. Thank you for your help!

We purchased a solar panel system with battery pack from Mega Solar **** on approximately January 30, 2022. We paid $25,122.00 (for solar panels), as well as $11,300.00 (for battery pack). Installation of the solar panels and battery pack was completed. Subsequently, Mega Solar, **** committed to file paperwork on our behalf to receive a battery pack rebate in the amount of $1,900.80 through the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) with ******************* ************** (SCE).Our project manager with Mega Solar **** contacted us about eight months later, 9/2/2022, stating that the battery pack rebate paperwork was never submitted to SCE, we would need to re-apply, and we would hear back once approved. The next email received was from ******************* ****** on 11/3/2022 stating that the paperwork for the battery pack rebate was cancelled due to Mega Solar **** not submitting it in a timely manner, despite our efforts to remind the project manager of the upcoming deadlines. The project manager has stated multiple times via email and phone calls that he has been working with SCE to remedy the situation and will update us. The last email he sent to us was on 1/15/2023 with an update that he is going to call SCE and we will have to wait to hear back on our rebate status. We have done our due diligence to stay in the know about what is needed to get our rebate established with SCE. We have been patient enough and have stayed in contact with the project manager throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, to this date, Mega Solar **** has not resolved our issue despite being told by the project manager that this was their mistake and his promise to make it right. We are seeking an explanation or update on our rebate status, as well as the battery rebate of $1,900.80. (See attached email screenshots of conversations between project managers and SCE staff.)Project ID: *******************

Dear Mr. ********************* you for your review, we completely understand your frustration.

When we initially discovered you were eligible for a rebate, it was an unexpected opportunity that we wanted to pursue to assist you further. Unfortunately, the funding was depleted long before *** could allocate any of it for you.
I personally reached out to *** for clarification, and they informed me that once funding becomes available, they will notify applicants. In the meantime, all applications are automatically canceled, and applicants must reapply when funding is restored.
While we were eager to make this happen for you, some factors are beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding and remain available to assist you whenever you need us. Thank you, and best of luck!
