We needed Coffman to move their AC unit they installed at our house in order for us to install a new concrete patio. Then we needed Coffman to move that AC unit back onto the new slab of concrete. They did so but they left a large stain on our brand new concrete patio that cost us a large sum to install. We've tried everything to remove the stain and it will not budge. At first, Coffman tried to defer blame (must've been someone else!), but after some persistence, we were able to get their manager to take a look. He acknowledged this was a result of his crew and seemed willing to work with us on a resolution, but now they are not responding to our messages.Business response

We reinstalled the customer's condenser on 4/12/24, after they had new concrete poured. As soon as we were made aware of the situation, we had our Service Manager out to the home to address the stain, he returned on April 13th. He offered to clean the spot, but the homeowner said he would try first. The customer called our Service Manager back the following week advising him that the stain did not come out. The homeowner said he was going to reach out to the company that poured the concrete to ask if there was anyway to get the stain out and our Service Manager was also going to do further research. At the time that this complaint came through, our Service Manager had reached out to the homeowner asking if he had any success determining a way to remove the stain. He had not had any success and asked for monetary compensation. I left a message for the homeowner to discuss compensation. I've attached a picture of the stain for review.Initial Complaint

I have been using Coffman Plumbing over the last year to service the heating boilers in our home. **** was the one that first showed up and provided the service. He did a good job and continued using them to replace some valves and pumps. I had requested them to service the driveway heater. **** was not an expert on this and he learned on the job to see why some zones were NOT melting. He purged the lines and some zones were working while others were not. After this work I noticed a leak in one of the pipes and notified ****. He came back again and tightened it and said that the leak could be coming from somehwere else. I had to pay the trip fee of $140 and the leak still exists. I have spent close to $800 on this work alone and the driveway heater is not melting all zone and there is a leak. I called them again and requested some sort of help or atleast fix the leak and purge the remaining zones properly which is what **** had mentioned for the zones that were not melting. They agreed to do that. I trust ****'s work and so continued to schedule him to service my home heating boilers. The service was scheduled for Oct 28th at 12 noon to 2 pm. I got multiple emails and phone confirming the appt. Then all of a sudden just 2 hrs before the appt ***** from Coffman called to notify that **** is not available anymore as he ahs been promoted and noone else will be able to work on your system and cancelled the appt. Now I don't know if they will keep the promise on the driveway heater purging and leak work that they had promised.Business response

I spoke with my management team this morning. We have agreed to go back out, to look at the leak on the boiler and review the quote that was given to the customer.
When **** was out on 6/7/22, he found a leak and tightened the bolts. He then told the customer that if the leak returned, he recommends replacing the circulating pump and seal. The cost to replace the circulating pump is $1386.00 and the seal is $533.00. When we called to speak with the customer, regarding the repairs, he only wanted to purge the boiler and hold off on the repairs.
