I signed up for an astrology teaser which was clearly stated as a $1.00 charge and would auto renew after a week. As soon as I entered my credit card number, I received a notification of a $29.99 charge on my card. I immediately reached out to the company for resolution and was sent a reply with non-specific proof that I had indeed signed up for the one month subscription. I absolutely did not! They refused to refund that larger amount, but said my subscription was canceled.Initial Complaint

I am writing to formally dispute a series of unauthorized charges made to my checking account by your company. I have never signed up for any services, nor have I authorized any transactions.The first unauthorized debit was a $1.00 charge on May 25, which prompted me to immediately contact your company. I was told I did not have an account. I later received another email stating that the account was canceled. Despite this, I have since been charged $19.99 on June 1, June 15, and June 23a total of three separate unauthorized debits.These charges have now caused my account to go into overdraft, further worsening the issue. I am filing a complaint against the business AstroLine for unauthorized and recurring charges to my account for a service I never subscribed to or used. Despite not having any active account or app installed, I have been charged multiple times (specifically [on 4/may/2025 and 7/may/2025 and 6/june/2025) about more thane 450 AED.
I am seeking a full refund of all unauthorized charges and an explanation of how these charges were made without my consent. I also request the immediate cancellation of any associated subscriptions or billing.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will proceed with filing a formal complaint with the Cyber Crimes Unit, as this situation involves unauthorized use of my financial information and may constitute fraud.

I submitted the palms of my hands to this website on 4/19/25. I was never able to download my results. I have contacted customer service and tried to cancel a recurring payment multiple times. Astroline Today has been deducting $19.99 every two weeks from my account. I have contacted them regarding the fraudulent charges because I did not authorize them. They keep responding to my emails with more questions about my bank account and any additional email addresses, I dont have another so it can only be the one Ive provided, to try to locate my account. I have provided all they should require to locate the account yet they claim they cannot. Of course upon further research it would seem this companys business is to scam people. They are clearly not operating in good faith and based on the complaints I see here have a very clear method of operations. I will close my account to avoid more charges but this business is committing fraud on a large scale and should be investigated.Initial Complaint

I saw an ad on ******** for Astroline app. You could get a free astrocartography report if you signed up for a free trial.On May 4, 2025, I signed up, planning to cancel it within the 1-week trial period I chose.On May 5, 2025, I went to the website, signed into my account, and saw that I was signed up for a 1 month subscription with a 2-week trial, which was different than the option I had chosen through the ******** link!I went through all the screens to try to cancel my account (& chose this option twice, I believe). BUT then it ended on a screen that just said I could get a free month. It didn't give any place to decline the option or choose Cancel.I emailed **************** from the app on May 5, 2025 and asked them to make sure my account was cancelled.They wrote back, but told me I should cancel via the website & just gave me the basic instructions again. I tried again on May 10, 2025 to go through all the screens and it still ends on the page about extending for 1 month free & doesn't give me a final cancel option!Customer Answer

An ad for this company popped up in my Instagram feed and I was interested in the Astrocartography. Once I provided my birth info, I was given the option to purchase a trial. I chose the 2-week trial for $5.49 and double clicked Apple Pay to approve it. Next thing I saw was an indication that my Apple Pay was then charged $29.99 for another report--a birth chart report-- which I DID NOT chose or approve. I reached out to the company IMMEDIATELY and informed them what had happened. They sent back an email indicating that I had in fact approved this purchase and referred me to their no refund policy. Again, I reached out and asked for a resolution. As of the last email I sent requesting a refund, there was no response. So I decided to file this complaint with BBB and saw instantly that others had reported the SAME deceptive tactics as the app intentionally makes it difficult to see that you are inadvertently agreeing to something you did not intend. I would like them to refund the $29.99. This should simply be a matter of good faith if they want customers. But it seems they would rather employ deceptive practices to stay in business. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. It's clearly only about money. Once you reach out to them, they send an email saying that your refund request does not meet their refund policy--which apparently is ONLY applicable to purchases made on their website NOT through the app. How convenient and deceptive. Because they know that most people, like myself, are scrolling on mobile devices and click on an Instagram link etc. I am NOT contesting the $5.49 2-week trial charge. That is what I actually chose.
