On December 28, 2021 I had my 2005 Ford Explorer truck towed to MFA Auto to get some work done. The mechanic that I worked with was Steven Marquez the owner. At first when he got my truck he said that it he got it to start, but when as time progresses, Steven then called to informed that he was going to need to (Rebuild My Transmission). I asked him the price to do that, Steven said $3800, I then agreed to the charges and I allowed him to do that work. Steven had my truck in his shop from 12/28- 1/4/22. When I picked my truck i handed him a cashier bank check for the amount of $3800. The following week, I complain to Steve about issues with my truck not gearing properly from Reverse to Drive, for some reason it would sticks and the it would take 10-15 seconds until it pops into gear. Steven and I drove around to see if he could figure out what was going on, Steven did mention that it takes a lil for the new parts to kick in and adjust. In February 2022, I moved to Las Vegas Nevada and I was still having that issue with my truck gearing from Reverse to Drive, didn't think of it. On November 3,2022 I was leaving work and my truck took 3-5 minutes to gear from Reverse to Drive which was strange, because I shouldn't be having Transmission issues, besides it has not been a full years. I was concerned, as I was driving it would not kick speed, I drove using my hazards lights, I stopped near by a Auto zone. Got it diagnosed, It was the(Transmission Control Solenoid). I was referred to a transmission specialist (Jose Borja's) Towed my car to him on November 11,2022 he had to pull my transmission out to see what's wrong because there were other issues. On November 14, 2022 he indeed called to his shop to show me other issues. my transmission sitting on a table, Jose informed me that my Transmission had not been rebuild and he explain and show me. Jose had to replace the (Trans Solenoid, Trans Filter, 9 quarts of Trans fluid, 2 belts broke & O/D Sensor. Steven scammed me
