Denver Countertop installed a granite countertop in my condo. After 6months I discovered a small crack. It appears as if the top had been cracked prior and been repaired as there is a paste substance on the crack itself. I contacted ******* and he said he'd send someone out he following week to fix it. No one ever came out. I have repeatedly called and have spoken with both ******* and ****** because ht crack has now extended and become larger. I have been promised dates for a repair but no one has shown up. Now no one answers their phones when I call.

DCD was to remove my kitchen counters and install new chiseled-edge, double-stacked granite slabs in my log post and beam home. On Aug. 3, sales manager ******* sent two employees to remove the old counters and measure. Granite would come in 5 days. I gave them a deposit check for $5,315.70. The old counters weren't even put back on and were left outside. The next morning, the sink cabinet was full of water as they didn't close the valves. I texted ******* photos. DCD did not return in 5 days and ******* would not return my calls. Finally, he was sending a crew on Aug. 17, two weeks after the project began. They never showed. When I reached *******, he said the truck broke down so they'd arrive the next day but were late. The only thing I explained was essential was to ensure granite fit properly where it met the main log at the center of the breakfast bar. They cut an oversized notch in it to fit the granite and butchered that massive log, which cant be replaced. They worked until 7 p.m. and were far from finished. We had guests so I asked them to return the next morning but they had to return to Denver, leaving the job incomplete and the area a mess. The kitchen sink granite is cracked in two places; the chiseled edge was not done properly; they didn't bring the backsplash for the entire wall behind the stove as ******* had talked me into buying an extra slab of granite; and they knocked off and damaged the cabinet trim. DCD began requesting full payment within 30 minutes after the crew left. I said I would not pay until ******* fixed the issues and finished the job. We were leaving town that weekend, so ******* agreed to return with a full crew and a ********* and all necessary granite on Oct. 1-2. We drove for 16 hours from ***** on Fri., Sept., 30, to be here. I called on Oct. 1 to get an ETA but no answer. I texted ******* at 8:51 a.m. to please call. At 11:25 am he texted he would but never did. It is Oct. 3 and I haven't heard a word. Balance due:$7,34891.
