    I had initially dropped of my watch for repair back in 2021 and was told that parts would take about 6 months to get. After several check-ins the store was no longer open during the business hours stated, and the phones were not being answered. About a year ago (2023) I was able to get into contact with the owner personally, and he explained that he was sick and would be opening as soon as possible. After several promised dates to reopen, he stopped returning my calls. At this point it appears that the business may not reopen, nor will any property of his clients be returned.

    As you can see from my uploaded photo, I brought my watch to this shop four years ago. It is an old Omega, originally bought by my mom for my grandfather in Switzerland in the 40s, Because of the part needed from there and Covid and then the owner's sickness, I have not been able to get it back. Now it seems that the store has been closed permanently. I've called every number listed for him and his family; asked the real estate agent for Hoffman Shopping Center where it is located; and have contacted the attorney general's office and had no success. This watch has great sentimental value. Can you assist me?

    I dropped two watches and a watch band off at Americo Watch Repair shop in January of 2022 to be repaired. Shortly after I dropped my watches off, the store closed as the owner became ill. I have been in contact with the daughter of the owner of the shop for a year trying to get my watches back and have received excuse after excuse as to why I can not get my watches.

    I took my Rolex watch into Americo Watch Repair for service. I was given a receipt and told by the owner he would contact by February, 2022. To this date I have not been able to get in touch with the owner. I have written several letters, made multiple telephone calls and have even driven by the shop on multiple occasions. I have enclosed a copy of my lastest correspondence which was sent via Certified Mail. I have contacted his landlord, YET no response. (They say their hands are tied) I want my watch back and would love to hear from the owner by personal telephone call so that we can meet me and return my property asap. Thank you

    I took my Rolex to Americo Watch Repair Shop in July of 2020 and was told that they would be able to fix it within the month. I have repeatedly called and gone to the store inquiring about my watch to receive excuses about the ****** illness, lack of parts, etc. The last contact I had with him, he said he had all of the parts and promised to have it completed within the week. Since that time nobody is answering the phone. It has been two years since I left my watch there with no results. I desperately want to resolve this and move on.

    The following are dates that I have attempted to contact Americo Watch Repair by phone with no response. Unable to leave a message.

     June 21, June 17, June 1, May 25. I drove to the store location (a 45 minute drive) on June 23 to find the store closed at 11:00 a.m. There wasn't a sign to notify customers a reason for closure. I spoke with *****, manager of the ****************** next door, and she stated that the store had been closed for about two months but had heard that the rent was still being paid for. I took my Rolex watch to Americo Watch Repair shop in July of 2020 and it has been very difficult to get it repaired with a lot of unfulfilled promises and now there is no contact at all. Americo, the owner, is a delightful man but just can't deliver. I hope for resolution.
