    Gave our installers the wrong ( and inferior ) carpet. Refused to replace it with the 100% wool carpet we had ordered and paid for. Unbelievably poor customer service. Now stuck with a too dark carpet of inferior blend in a basement space unless we pay for all new carpet. Can’t believe people like this business

    This is an amendment to my prior review. Once the BBB contacted Ruggs Benedict about my complaint they were all of a sudden willing to talk to me and willing to replace the carpet to what I had ordered. They still only deserve 2 stars due to they way this whole issue was handled; not being willing to compensate me for more than the difference in the carpet price (I told they they could leave the carpet if they paid me an extra $1000) and not being willing to talk with me directly, and refusing to replace the carpet until I filed a complaint with the BBB. Once I finally actually get the carpet I will post another amended review.
