  I ordered a key at a kiosk and twice the wrong key was ordered. The key Fob will unlock/lick doors and open trunk but will not start car. Its very frustrating to walk around Lowes or stand in a parking lot for an error on the companies part. Now Ive had to send the *** number and picture of the key to assume the 3rd time will be a charm. Aggravation and frustration and wasted time from work are not worth the discounted price. The company should take responsibility for sending the technician with the incorrect key TWICE and hopefully not a 3rd time

  Had 3 keys made at the local Lowes self kiosk. None fit. Contacted minutekey and someone responded with basic questions requesting my info. I was sent a gift card. The directions that come with the card state to activate it and set up a pin. There isnt an option when its activated to set up a pin. I contacted the companys again and they told me that the card does not require a pin simply tap to pay. I didnt pay attention if the card had the tap to pay feature at that time. I went to the store and tried to use it and it does not have tap to pay capability. The cashier ran it as a credit and it was still declined. I felt compelled to explain as I stood there embarrassed and the cashier said a lot of people have trouble with the minutekey machine. I then contacted minutekey for a third time to explain it does not have tap to pay and inquire what should I do and they did not respond. I then realized I could try and use it as a payment online. I did that and it worked. So I figured out the solution without their help. So I still needed keys made (properly) and unfortunately in Lowes the employee key cutting machine is also minutekey. I did not want to use it but if it didnt work it would not be a loss to me at least. The associate had trouble getting it to work. Had to try two of my keys because each key he tried kept saying it wa dirty. Both? Then he took the optical plate off and polished it and after a couple more tries, the machine worked. I would avoid minutekey if possible. Keys arent cut properly and customer service will ignore you.

  SCAM, KEY DID NOT WORK...EMAILED SEVERAL TIMES, NO ANSWERS BACK...WEBSITE CUSTOMER SUPPORT, DOES NOT WORK, YOU FILL OUT A FORM, THEN HIT SEND, IT THEN OPENS UP TO A DUCKDUCKGO EMPTY BROWSER, WITH A SEARCH BOX...SCAMMERS...WHEN YOU SAY YOU HAVE SUPPORT, THEN IT DOES NOT WORK ON THE ******** ****** ALSO IGNORE YOUR EMAILS...THEY MIGHT JUST BE, CRIMINALS!!!

  My key copies were not correct and didn't work. Couldn't get a refund I will never use this company again. I will put an "out of order " sign on the kiosk every time I pass it.

  Tried minute key for the first time. It cut a key that looked correct, but got home and it did not work. Advised minute key and they refused to refund the cost. Something like sales are final at the point of sale and I somehow had to advise on the spot that the key didn't work. Obviously can't do that with an automated machine. Would not recommend that anyone use minute key.

  Great product, quick, simple and efficient!I've used MinuteKey for several keys over the years and always had great success with the keys it's made! Would absolutely recommend!

  The keys don't work!! I was assured by the ******* employee that refunds are so easy you just need to call. None of the keys worked. I tried to get a refund and was told that I can't because it's been more than 30 days. I had issues with my pregnancy and that is why I couldn't call earlier. I thought I was going to lose the baby. They told me they can give me a coupon so I can make more keys that don't work. What a scam.

  I used the kiosk inside of ****** and had no problem. I went back about a year later and used the same kiosk again. I thought (since their business is keys) the keys I was given would work perfectly. My mistake was not trying the keys as soon as I got home. I had family visiting for the Fourth of July and gave them the Minute Keys. None of the 4 keys worked! Contacted customer service and I was informed of all of the fine print: refunds within 30 days coupon code to try it again within 60 days. After that, oh well. I told the representative that information would be good to have posted on the kiosk. Will NOT be using this service again. I do not recommend it for others to use either.
