    I was charged 25% over quoted price on my purchase.I obtained quotes for 2.5 tons of pea gravel from 3 businesses. Colorado Wholesale Landscape Supply quoted $35.95 per ton and $105.00 for delivery. I ordered 2.5 tons from them, for a total of $204.34, tax included, which they confirmed. ( see first attachment) But on delivery on March 27, 2024, they charged me for 2.9 tons at $39.95 per ton plus $125.00 for delivery, for a total of $253.03. (see second attachment) I called them at least 3 times trying to get them to fix the overcharge. Each time I got a version of "We'll look into it and call you back". Noone called me; the overcharge stands.

    We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with Colorado Wholesale.  I was able to talk with my manager and I was told that they did reach back out to you and let you know that we would be willing to refund the difference in the rock which is $12.00.  We also have signs posted in the store that state what the delivery will cost.  everything is based on Gps miles from our location.  you were given an estimate and when it came down us delivering you load we Gps your house and I came up under 10 miles.  Which would be normally $125.00.  My manager also let me know that he told you we could refund the difference of $20.00.  The only thing we asked is that you would have to come in so that we could put the money back on your card.  You refused to come in and we are not able to return money with out the card that it was bought on.  So to solve any issues you might still have feel free to come on in and we can refund your money we are here everyday from 7:30 to 4pm.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    1.Since all of my dealings with the business were over the phone, what they post in their office is irrelevant.

    2. The business never offered to refund any of my money. Their only response to me was "We'll look into it and get back to you". No-one did.

    3. The business never asked me to come in to get a refund. Therefore, I could not have refused to come in.

    I am disappointed by their dishonesty.

    We are a small business just trying to make it in the world. I'm sorry you feel jaded and take an advantage of. I put the offer out there for you to come in and get your money back for the difference. I am not allowed to refund money over the phone unfortunately or I would have done that I'm not going to play back and forth he said she said anymore. So if you'd like your money back feel free to come in if not feel free to drop everything and move on with your life.
