I took my brand new wedding dress to them to get cleaned two weeks before my wedding. I called weeks before asking how much time they need for wedding dresses and they said two weeks. I also mentioned that I had some yellowing from sun damage on the hip area and they ensured me they can get it out. I showed my area of concern to the people working there and the only issue was the discoloration, the lace was clearly intact. Upon drop off they said they were booked out and would have to charge me a $50 rapid cleaning fee on top of the $215 they are charging for the cleaning. I told them Im not paying it since they told me to wait until the two week **** to bring it in. When I returned on 9/16/23 to pick up my dress I inspected it before paying and noticed the lace on the hip area was dangling off. I told them I didnt want to pay until my dress was fixed since I didnt drop it off that way. However, the owner talked to me over the phone before I left and said she would take it to her seamstress since it was a quick fix. On 9/17/23 (two days before my wedding) I was told by the same owner I can take it to my seamstress but you have to pay extra since it wasnt our fault and weve never had this happen before. I no longer trusted them taking care of the situation so I said I would take it to my trusted seamstress down the street instead and asked for a discount of $20-$30 to cover the cost and they refused. In fact they grabbed my dress like I was going to run out of the store with it and refused to give it to me if I didnt pay the FULL amount.

I left my spring/summer bedding at the dry cleaners on or about October 19th, 2022. I thought I had picked it up, however when I went to look for it, I realized I had probably forgotten to pick it up. In summary, the dry cleaners had donated my items, but did not make any attempts to contact me prior to donating. They said they were going to implement a system going forward to contact customers. I realize that it was my error to have forgotten it, but as the business has my email and phone number, I would have thought that they would attempt to contact me to remind me that it was there prior to giving it away. Is there any responsibility on the business for a gentle reminder?

All I want is my comforter set returned, but since they donated it, I would ask that they reimburse me for a cost to replace it. It is still available to buy, and I gave them that information. When I looked at it it was on sale and before tax came to $300.
