BEWARE AND DON'T GO!! I wish I could give them a '0'. The latest update is the practice opened again about a week ago with a new dentist. They could be perfectly nice and competent. BUT - stay away or you could end ** in a billing nightmare like our family. They have revolving door dentists. We never had issues with it until 2019. We are also patients with the practice for ********************* late 2019 and through the pandemic - bills were not being sent to insurance. Not to mention, the practice was preferred with our insurance but the professionals they brought in after the pandemic, often were not preferred. Thus, when we returned from the pandemic our cleanings were not covered 100%. In essence I could write a book here. I have been working with the billing folks for 2 years now to get them to actually **** for our services. We have 2 dental insurance plans. We paid for 2 so that our services were mostly covered in full. Over 100 emails later, some results on claims filed but NO reimbursements. They weren't billing insurance for most of our services during covid and when they did - the one year 'timely' billing deadline passed and we would get claims that said 'no patient responsibility.' If they **** late the patient isn't supposed to be billed. There would be no way for us to know our 'patient responsibility.' Unfortunately, they asked for payment for services up front. They requested the full amount for my daughter's braces based on the insurance we had at the time, day one. That insurance allowed a higher patient responsibility. Three months later our primary insurance changed and it said a lower max-out-of-pocket for the patient. Rock Canyon decided they would go with the higher patient responsibility and they kept the full amount plus insurance reimbursements. There are a number of other issues - including not having payments in their system and I had to show receipts to prove I paid. So Sad, we loved this practice. I will file complaints with the state.
