I moved to this complex in June 2023. When I was talking to the leasing person, I repeated said, I am looking to purchase a home, I would like to know if I do find one will I be able to get out of my lease. Her response was yes! you just need to give up 30 days and you will be fine. I didn't read the lease agreement because again, I asked her more than one to make sure I was understanding it correctly. Based on the information she provided to us I signed the agreement. Now, I purchased a home, and they are telling me that I need to give them 30 day notice plus pay for another month. When I reminded her what she had told us her reply was. It is your responsibility to read the agreement. This is ridiculous. I signed the agreement based and trusting the information I was being given. I understand maybe pay for half of the next month to give them maybe two weeks to clean although, when I moved in to this place the apartment was dirty no one had cleaned it. I wrote this down on the initial walk thought which, I did my self. Noone ever came with me. The air conditioning didn't work, the apartment is not leveled /which it causes vertigo and causes the fridge to make a loud noise. A cold drift comes through the electric outlets, so the place never warms up. the bathtub has been dripping since I moved in despite 3 attempts of them ""fixing" it still dripping. I went to the office to let them know that the yard was full of dog ****, and they said, oh! well, when they supposedly have a designated area. One would think they would be considerate /concerned with the yard covered in p*** This is bad for one's health. Rent is very high, the road is full of deep holes very bad for your car, they make one pay ***** for a carport that doesn't cover the car at all and when it snows your car will get wet and full of snow. The gym is a hazard zone, the machines do not work correctly and when you're on them they get stuck specially the treadmills. I moved in the blinds were all broken. Doors full of dirt bathtub is corroded and is discussing to even take a shower. Despite of ow much one cleans it looks dirty and grossed. Insects are constantly coming into the place. There is a very loud noise that comes through the walls on and off, despite the many complains noting has been done. The maintenance came and said oh! well. The "girls" they're not women who know how to conduct business tell you one thing and do something else. This is the worst place to live very unhealthy, unsafe and all they want is money they do not care about their residents.

    Hey there,

I understand your frustration and hope that over the last several weeks we have made your experience better as we have been working through some of your complaints while still abiding by our company policies and procedures. I strongly recommend reading any legal binding document so you know exactly what you are signing. We value our residents move in experience and ensure all apartments are professionally cleaned upon move in. We also look over all move in inspection forms upon move out before assessing any charges and we will do this for you like we do for everyone else. If you marked items down on your list, we will be sure to take that into consideration upon your move out. Although our maintenance team has changed in the course of 1 year our expectation is to repair all residents items in a timely manner and it appears all of your work orders have been addressed in our system. If there is anything remaining that has not been repaired, please let me know and I will ensure it gets repaired before you move out. In addition, we have plans to have our parking lot redone once the weather is more consistent with the cure needs of the asphalt and concrete procedures. I hope over the next few weeks we can make your stay with us more appealing. If you need anything we are always here to help you.

    Thank you,

    Whispering Hills Management

Thank you. Please be aware that not all my work orders were completed . All blinds in the apartment are broken and still broken. The shower still dripping. The refrigerator... well it doesn't matter now as I am moving out . When someone signs an agreements with you , your ee let one know the highlights of the agreement . I asked what would I need to do if needed to brake the lease and I was told give 30 days and pay one month. Your agreement says if one gives 30 days one will need to pay another month. ******* says that if you don't pay all at once then you have to pay another month. Your agreement shouldn't be so shady and your ee should be more careful and instead of explaining things they should encourage the applicant to read the agreement instead. This will avoid misunderstandings in the future. One won't think that your ee has explained everything correctly or clear enough!
