We bought a very nice Natuzzi couch and chair through American Furniture Galleries. 4.5 years into owning the couch we noticed the left side was creaking. We made several attempts to reach out to the store and to Natuzzi directly. It took several months to get anywhere. Then at that time they sent a service tech to look at the couch (employee), he thought there was a structural flaw. Then the company had a warranty individual from Natuzzi come out, they diagnosed what they thought was the problem. We did not agree with that assessment, so we requested a second opinion. The next warranty tech was sent out, he found the problem quickly. There was a part missing on installation, 4.5 years prior but over time it started wearing on the couch in a different way. If this missing part had not been missed we would not have had the problem. This was a part that was missing from the middle of the couch that created a constant breakdown of the recliners on either the left or the right side of the missing stabilization piece that was not installed. We simply asked for the couch to be repaired as well as our hardwood floors. Because the middle stabilizer piece had been missing, the couch started bowing in the middle therefore the center of the couch started rubbing on the floor causing grooves in our hardwood floors. A long story short, the middle piece was never installed with the couch, because of this the couch started bowing, the bowing then created added wear to the left and right sides of the couch making them creak. This bowing then ruined our hardwood floors. American Furniture was reluctant to fix anything and only added a centerpiece after 3 warranty techs came out, the centerpiece was fabricated not even the real piece, and then absolutely argued they were not going to assist with the floors. These were brand new floors when we bought the couch only to be ruined 4.5 years after THEY installed or didn't install the couch.
