    The owners of Synergy Dance Academy are threatening legal and police action against my wife and I due to negative reviews about their company. Our daughter left a one-star review on their website. We are being accused of a coordinated attack on their studio due to a dip in their rating. Attached are the text messages I received from the owners. Our daughter was suspended from their studio and we opted to remove her completely even though they asked if shed like to come back. The studio owner who claims to be a life coach shared HIPAA information about our daughter with her husband and potentially others at the studio. She referred to our family as a hot mess express because my wife and daughter see mental health professionals. Lastly, the husband told my wife that my active duty military retirement will be lost because of reviews. My wife and I have not stated anything on their website and cant control what other people say about their business.

    This family has joined our studio for a short 7-8 months before we had to ask them to leave after discovering their daughter has been smoking in the dance studio bathrooms, she is 14 years old. this behavior is unwelcome in our studio and strongly effected our community.

    this is a military family who moved out of state immediately after that due to the father military post, after the family received a refund from us for services the didn't use (as a respectful business does) they have started a coordinated attack on our ****** page, up to that point our ****** page had 32 reviews, all 5 stars for a business that's been active for 20 year,

    about an 1 hour after concluding the financial transaction of the refund we have received 32, 1 star reviews in 36 hours, all but 2 (the mother &daughter) from people who were never our clients, all from out of state (we are a local business) and all connected directly to the family in questions (family members, ******** friend act) - we have collected all the information and proof and will take it forward with the authorities, as this damage to our reputation of 20 years in the community is so extreme, its harassment and defamation of character.   

    the studio owner does not claim to be a life coach and we are not equipped to handle extreme behavioral cases, we simply mentor the dancers to be good humans and express themselves through the arts 

     

    We have attempted to communicate peacefully with this family asking them to reverse the attack on us and go our separate ways (as can be seen in the text I sent the father, who was attached to the complaint) without any success
