      Rainbow Painting is terrible & undeserving of the one star. Rainbow was hired to replace a 16 ft long 12 inch wide rotting trim board building front. They shorted on materials using a 9" wide board exposing the Buildings concrete foundation. Water rolled across the concrete foundation, soaking an interior wall to the drywall and interior floor.The installer was sent back to fix it and confronted making excuses & refusing to take responsibility. He was however sent out to fix it and instead added flashing. Installers boss claims the 9 inch board wasn't put on there (but its still there) and then asked if the flashing was working so he knew they did something wrong. shorted on the materials and had to come back out to fix it. ****** whose real name is *************** owner of Rainbow Painting, refuses to come out and look at it & then says he was here yesterday looking at all the issues left by the concrete co they subcontracted to do more work in the community. Repairs were $1,200+ repair drywall out plus 2 months loss of use of the bedroom where the wall had to be opened up exposing the space to mold. ******/*************** refuses to pay saying they did nothing wrong.The community hired them to do concrete work and though not a GC contracted out to a concrete co. They concreted right up to Rainbows shorted/flashing covered trim ************* other trim boards on the building failing to insert flashing & waterproofing to preserve the wood trim boards. They added a stair/step that violate COS riser cods, created a serious fall hazard of over 4 ************* to place a guardrail leaving another COS city code violation. This is the second **** in the community where they have done work and left the same COS code violations. Shorting of materials is theft plain and simple and their substandard work is a joke. FYI This business has not been operating out of the Van ********* address in your files for quite some time now.
