Program Participation
Blue Star's mission is achieved directly through recycling operations programs in Denver and Colorado Springs, CO. Indirectly the mission is achieved through a regional Vocational Electronics Recycling Network (VERN) and Impact Recyclers, a national network of social enterprise electronics recyclers and refurbishers. In August 2015 Blue Star launched a strategic partnership with PC's For People www.pcsforpeople.com, a 501(c)(3) organization based in Minnesota with a mission of bridging the digital divide by providing free and low cost computers and affordable internet access to low-income residents, families and children. This program will also create additional jobs for our production employees who possess the interest and aptitude in acquiring these more sophisticated tasks.
