When going through the Wendys drive-thru a worker named **** decided that it would be funny to mock my autistic daughter as she was making noises. When telling the window helper about how rude that was to mock a handicapped child. She had apologized about his behavior in which she had heard and witnessed. When going in the Wendys to speak to a manager about the ordeal, the girl came up to escalate the situation and say that the guy was autistic himself. I said I do not believe in coincidences. I then began to ask her again you are telling me that this worker is autistic, and she kept with her story. The manager on duty came to the front and when telling him about the whole ordeal he did nothing. The same manager did not say anything, nor did he try to correct the employee. **** had them speak regularly and started to spew out lies in the most well-spoken normal voice. I replied that his speech did not seem to be one of a person that was autistic, as he was making the same handicap sounds after my child had done so. While observing the employee, he was not doing anything that would be considered self-soothing when dealing or anything people on the spectrum usually do. As I was leaving, **** had then said, oh I do have autism, to cover up him mocking my child. I had replied that I would be speaking to a general manager since no one wanted to correct this employee for making my child feel horrendous, nor did he try to apologize. Covering up making fun of handicapped children is callous, as she did understand that she was being mocked. When asking to speak to a general manager on Friday as directed by the previous manager, a female that said she was a general manager was very rude and implied it was nothing that she could do because her employee had a doctor's note for being Autistic as well. I asked does that give him the right to treat people like that and you all to do nothing to fix the problem. She was pretty much dismissive and back and forth in arguing instead of speaking to me to the side like a general manager would do or asking me to come back when she could gather herself appropriately. I do have videos of the whole ordeal and the complaint process with a female that said she was the general manager.
