    We purchased a pole barn kit on behalf of our 501(C)(3) nonprofit, ****** Grateful Acres. We are not having the company build it for us, we are building the barn ourselves as I am an experienced builder. Since we started dealing with Larkspur Buildings, they have proven to be difficult to contact and generally unresponsive more so than not. The deal was for the agreed upon amount of $60,124.00 we would get stamped engineered plans and all the materials necessary to build what the plans show. This agreement was initiated on or slightly before 5/1/2023. We have now run into some pretty serious plan discrepancies and material shortages. It has now been one week since I was last able to speak to someone at the company at which point they promised that I would have revised drawings in my email this past Monday (Sept. 25) at which point I would be able to review them and present a comprehensive list of what materials we are missing. Both of the phone numbers that I have been calling now have full voicemail messages and all texts and emails have gone unanswered all week. We only have so many good weather building days left at ****ft in the mountains and I need answers asap so that our animals have a warm dry place to exist through the winter.

    The company, Larkspur Buildings, has finally been in touch with us and is working on providing us with answers to our questions and they are supposedly bringing us the building materials that we are missing TODAY, Wednesday, October 4th. If this all comes to fruition then I suppose we will drop the complaint but we would still like it to be known to others that they are a difficult business to work with.

    We did everything what the customer ask.

    **** we sent our construction manager to explain any doubt.

    We called to the customer many times and never return our calls.

    Our **************** is excellent and we are open every day from Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm.

    In the past we answer calls from the customer Saturdays and Sundays.

    We stay here to help.

    I contracted with Larkspur Buildings in mid January of 2022. I purchased plans and all the materials for a barn kit. The total that I paid, was over $37,000. I have receipts for these payments along with the purchase order for the materials and services paid for. To date, 6 Sept, 2022, I have not received the materials required to complete this project. Additionally, the paid services that the contractor was supposed to provide were done poorly and had to be redone completely. The poles were not properly installed and had to be redone. The poles for the lean-to sunk after a rain and had to be completely reset. After repeated delays, I went to the Larkspur office and had a meeting with *********, the owner, and his then project manager *** (the fourth project manager in this process). We outlined everything that was missing. ********* promised to have those materials delivered on August 19th. That date came and went with no delivery. I went back into *********'s office on Aug 23rd. He told me that he was short handed and would have the materials delivered on Sep 2nd. I began texting and calling him that morning. He ignored my calls or sent me short text messages indicating that he would call me back. I took time off from work and waited around on each of these days, only to have no delivery. ********* finally called me back around 5:30 PM to tell me that he was not going to be able to make the delivery and that he would for sure deliver on Tuesday the 6th of August. This is the 6th of August. No delivery.Now, like other customers before me, the owner will not answer calls or messages. I have a barn that is half built, that I cannot complete without the materials paid for. I estimate that I still have $15,000 to $20,000 in materials that have not been delivered. If we cannot get this issue resolved here, I will have not choice but to contact an attorney.
