In regards to this customer we have already settled this matter with ************************. This vehicle was bought as-is 10/6/23. After coming in and harassing our customers we informed him that we were not going to do any further work on the vehicle but we credited $350 that was owed on the purchase in recognition of the troubles he was experiencing.Initial Complaint

On December 3,2021, I ******************* purchesed a car a 2006 ****** Tribeca. I paid *******. At the time of purchase they gave me a diganose that the timing belt was going out and that it needed to be fixed. I said ok. Well on December 9 as I was driving on the highway the car died out and than started making a knocking sound as soon as you pressed the gas. The car was not drivable after that. i than had it towed to a mechanic shop, they checked the oil levels in it and realized that there was metal in the oil, coming from the engine. At that point the mechanic inform me that the engine was done for and it would cost around **** to get a new engine and for labor. I contacted the business and informed them and they said that it was not there problem anymore. I asked if there's anything they could do since i only had the car 6 days before it broke down and they said no. I then went down to the business and asked to speak to the owner, but he just left and walked out. At this point the salesman was retracting what he said was wrong. Originally he said timing belt, now he was saying timing chain.
