My car was taken into Golden Triangle Auto Care to address concerns I had about the power steering system on January 8th 2022. At that time, I paid $2,619.67 to resolve several issues, including a new power steering pump and a replacement of power steering fluid. Later that month, I noticed a leak of power steering fluid under the hood. I returned the vehicle and it was found that an o-ring failed at the new power steering pump, which was replaced at no cost. The leak caused by the failed o-ring was not cleaned off of the surrounding parts under the hood, which I recognized in April, as I started to use my air conditioning for the summer and noticed large amounts of smoke leaving my hood. When I looked under the hood, it was clear that all of the leak residue was burning off of the vehicle. I returned a third time on April 12th, 2022, to have the leak cleaned up as I was concerned it would cause damage to other parts of the car. That day, a wash was performed at no cost. On July 18th, 2022, I was driving the vehicle and when I started the air conditioning a very large amount of smoke began to appear and I noticed my power steering began to fail while driving. I managed to pull off of the road and when I looked under the hood, I noticed the power steering belt had actually melted off and out of place. It was clear that the original leak was not cleaned up properly, as my power steering fluid level was full. The smoke and damage to the belt was therefore caused by the original leak and failure to clean the leak properly despite taking the car back a third time for this reason exactly. I returned the car to the shop on July 19th, 2022 and the shop refused to replace the damaged parts to my car.

We did a wash and dye service free of charge to pinpoint an additional oil leak, customer was advised to return with in 50 miles of service. was not brought back for over **** miles and damage was done to the belt. We had no way to rectify the issue without having the vehicle returned to us. Now that the vehicle is back **** miles later with a broken belt. We replaced the belt under warranty and cleaned engine again. Upon completing this repair and re inspection , we found a bad oil leak coming front the front crank shaft seal. Totally different system from any other repairs performed here. We would have found this if it was returned in a timely fashion.
