EDIT(7/19): Urban Autocare did reach out to me and they stated they would reimburse the diagnostic charge only if I removed my review (which is against googles terms and conditions and also against my moral values) when I told them I would change the review from a 1 star to a 2 star, they ghosted me. (See Screenshot) If I was able to select 0 stars, I would. I also got the Quote back from Jeep and to fix everything its only going to cost me 5K (this includes fixing my suspension issues). this place is ***** and Ill never be returning or recommending this place. Ive included the quote I received from the Jeep Dealership as well.OG REVIEW (7/16): I chose this place because my boyfriend takes his car here however, I will not be returning. The only reason this review is getting 1 star is because the customer service was great. Everyone I spoke to was insanely nice and they were willing to hold onto my car for almost a week while I figured out a game plan. Sadly there is where the good review ends. I was given an estimate over the phone that it would be $30,000 to fix my car due to overheating. I asked to fix just the radiator but I was told no and that they would have to replace both the engine and radiator (which doesn't seem right). When I asked for an itemized quote to see how they could've gotten to 30K, I was told that there was not one available for me, which again, seems strange to me. After speaking to other people who know cars or have had the same issue, the conclusion was that it should not be that much and that the radiator should get fixed first to see if the engine actually needs to be replaced/repaired or not. My car is now going to a dealership to get fixed for $20,000 LESS than what I was quoted here.I would personally only go here for basic maintenance but before you do, price shop before you schedule anything.

SCAM! Urban Autocare (UA) has committed attempted grand theft by fraud or deception.I took my car in to UA, they called and stated that my car was "At the end of the road" and required at the minimum of $4,682.00 or repairs including a cracked radiator (which is 4 years old with ~****** miles), water pump, thermostat and the sway bar needed to be replaced. They also stated they were 99% certain the head gaskets were warped as well. To get the car back on the road the estimate was $4.684.59 but I should really expect to pay $6,000-$7,000 as they were sure to find other problems. Per my invoice my car was looked at by their service advisor and technician. I paid UA $144.00 for a fake car inspection/estimate. BUT Urban ********* was going to save me! Coincidentally, they had an employee who would "love" to buy my car from me. The employee would pay me the ***** value of my car and was hoping to pay around $500.00. ** stated the car was not drivable, their employee became visibly angry and aggressive with me when I had the car towed home. The ACTUAL repairs to my car were ~$500.00. I have spoken with the ***** president of the company, he fully blames their service manager, however he will not answer or acknowledge the fraud by the service advisor and technician. UA would like to refund me the $144 if I drop my BBB claim. I would rather lose my money to protect others from Urban Autocare.
