I am unable to get through to. Company on phone or email. Have been paying approximately 15 dollars per month and Dec bill is *****. I see we pay *** for same service which was not stated as a part of the agreement. We want to cancel and would like our money back that we have paid to this apparent scam 12Business response

Good morning.
We apologize for any trouble reaching us at Greenwave Energy, as our hours were temporarily limited for the Holiday season. We have located this customer's account and have processed a cancellation request which was submitted electronically to their utility today, 1/7/2025. We did attempt to return this customer's calls twice, on both 12/27/2024 and 1/2/2025. We reached a voicemail both times and left a voicemail advising of our limited holiday hours and that any follow up calls would be returned within 72 hours.
Greenwave Energy is fully licensed and regulated to operate within the state's Gas Choice Program. We have located and reviewed the Third-Party Verification completed by this customer to authorize this enrollment. All terms and Conditions of the service agreement were agreed to by the customer on this recorded verification. We are unable to justify a refund at this time.
Please note, the utility will not allow any changes to be made in the middle of a billing cycle. This may result in Greenwave Energy charges appearing for 1-2 billing cycles.

Felt very pushed by sales representative to sign up for greenwave energy tooday 10/23/24 even though that bill was not in my name. After doing a search and review I see negative comments about the cost going up and up instead of down like they promised. My father-in-law who the bill is actually under was pretty upset about the situation as well. Especially that he is on a fixed *********** wife got laid off recently. I thought I was doing a good thing unfortunately feels like I've been scamed. I'm hoping to get this situation taken care of sooner rather than later. I will try again tomorrow to cancel. Hopefully, the company sees this and takes care of this problem immediately.Business response

Today 4/12 greenwave energy signed me up for a plan I did not want. the salesperson was very pushy and insisting I give him my information for pge that is not even under my name and even made me a verified person to sign up for said program I went to the website to cancel and there is no option to cancel a plan and the page is not found I have emailed the company with the provided email on the website and still nothing I have had such a horrible experience trying to cancel and get this resolved I just want to cancel the plan I was signed up for using shady sales tacticsBusiness response

Hello,
We are sorry to hear of this poor experience and are happy to assist with this cancellation request. We have located the 4/12/2024 enrollment and have submitted a Stop Order Request to ensure no unwanted changes are made. At Greenwave Energy, per ******** regulations, we must hold any and all new enrollments for 3 business days before submitting anything to the utility for service. This enrollment has been successfully cancelled with no changes being made.
In regards to the concerns with not being able to reach our **************** Team last Friday, we sincerely apologize. We show this enrollment was completed around 5:45-6:00 PM PT on 4/12/2024. Our **************** hours are 7 AM - 2PM PT Mon thru Fri, as our office is in the EST time zone.
We do again sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused. We wish this customer all the best. Please let us know if we may assist any further.

The Salesman from Greenwave energy company tricked me into signing up for Greenwave energy as new Gas supply provider to replace PGE under the guise of lowering my bill. Very unethical and ******* way of stealing of customer's trust. I am never going to let anyone from Greenwave come near my house. We have researched and do not find any record of this customer. Is it possible to get any complete information? The following is incomplete. The name cannot be found in our system, as neither the email address. The phone number is incomplete. We cannot provide anything with incomplete information for research. We have received your complaint. We cannot find receipt of an electronic request via our "homepage" but do have a call on file requesting disconnect on 1/29/2024. It normally takes 1-2 billing cycles for the disconnect request to process through PG&E. Greenwave does not have termination fees and certainly does not want any customer to feel as though you are unable to request disconnect as it is your choice where you purchase your natural gas. We have requested a retro disconnect from PG&E, this will refund you the $130.87. Please note, you will be responsible for the gas usage at the PG&E rate for that time period, as the gas was used. Please allow the 1-2 billing cycles to see the Greenwave credit on your bill.

Hello, I am very sorry to hear about the poor experience **** had with one of our representatives. That is certainly not how we want our people to behave. I will forward the name and photo of ******* to our Director of Sales and to the *** so this can be addressed immediately. As a courtesy, I am going to process a retro-disconnect, which basically means we will have PG&E back our/reverse all of our charges going back to the start date. **** should see these reversals on his February invoice.Initial Complaint

A green wave rep came to my home and I was told that this bill will help lower my life bill. They took my phone and answered questions. They told me to tell ******* over the phone that they did not touch my phone. Thee fees with green wave have been higher than my actual PGE bill. I've called several times to cancel with no resolution. I've cancelled online with no resolution. PGE says they can not help. It is very frustrating and I just would like to cancel what I THOUGHT and what I was told would lower my bill. They are scammers in my opinion.Business response

Hello, I do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. I do see that you were able to speak with someone over the phone to get your cancellation request handled on January 5, 2024. The notes in our system state the following: "************************* called in from number on file due to rates. Reviewed/Explained rate, no contract/fees but customer confirms she wants to cancel service." I am going to get this addressed with our call center.
