PET OWNERS BEWARE. My cats tail got caught in the electric recliner crossbar that they sold us because there is no cover over it!! **** us a half hour to get her out, bones were sticking out of her tail. We had to take her to the emergency PET OWNERS BEWARE. My cats tail got caught in the electric recliner crossbar that they sold us because there is no cover over it!! **** us a half hour to get her out, bones were sticking out of her tail. We had to take her to the emergency vet and I had to go to the emergency room from her biting me from being in so much pain. I have an emergency vet bill, medical bills, a traumatized cat that will never be the same, nor will I, and a recliner I'm afraid to use because it might happen again to another one of my cats or maybe next time my child's finger.. so I called and spoke with the store manager ***** and told him what happened.. he snickered and said it's not our fault it's just an accident. I told him there would be no accidents if the crossbar is covered correctly before you sell the $3,800 couch. No compassion, no care, not even common sense. I already reached out to corporate and they told me accidents happen and electric recliners are dangerous to pets, I was never told this when I purchased the furniture. It's a shame furniture row corporate tells me I spent $3800 on a dangerous product after my cats tail is gone and the bills are stacked up. I've attached the email response from ***** in corporate. This is absolutely horrible how this company is treating me. More people need to be warned about this faulty product you sell. There's a bunch of articles online of this happening to people's cats and atleast the other furniture companies are reimbursing people for their vet bills... this company won't even take my electric recliner and give me a manual one.Review from Logan T

I bought a couch from Furniture Row 5/8/2024. Was delivered a couple of weeks later except for the corner wedge. It felt too big for my living but without the corner wedge it seemed smaller. The completion of delivery (corner wedge) happened in June. It saw almost immediately that it was too big. I paid a total ***************** $2500 plus) and didn't know what to do. I prayed and tried to "live" with it but it is just too big. So late June I took my complaint along with Furniture Rows return/Exchange policy and told them that I wanted to exchange .***** from Furniture Row called a couple days later and said that they would exchange it for a "20% restocking fee". I agreed but upon reflection (45 minutes) I thought that was high and I didnt want to pay double taxes (the original purchase then on the restocking fee). I went in to leave ***** a message but a while i was relaying my message to ***** to give to ***** about my concerns a young girl Furniture Row worker kept interrupting me and interjecting herself into my conversation that she wasnt a part of, or invited to was asked by me three times to let me finish with *****,. I was incredulous so I left telling those employees that I'll just file this case after all. The rudeness of this early 20's associate was on a level that I am still shocked by. I have filed with ************ Claims and with a court date set for 12/02/2024 (Furniture Row will be served by the ***** Co. Sheriff next week). The couch is still in brand new pristine condition and since the court date is set for 3 1/2 months away I plan to get a storage locker and add that to my monetary claim against Furniture Row at court.Review from Kathy P

Used to think they were great. Our leather reclining sofa is one. Month out of warranty and they wont do anything to fix the manufactured defect! Offered us a number to have it repaired! $250Furniture Row Response

I'm not sure what the customer's specific concern is over, however if the issue is regarding a reclining mechanism, the warranty on their 2017 purchase would have expired in September 2020, almost 4 years ago. If this is regarding a different invoice I would encourage the customer to reach out to us on our website.Review from Bonnie C

First time visit to Furniture Row. Saturday June 22nd 2024. Im new to the area and looking to furnish my condo. I was in search of a leather recliner. I found the perfect one at a great price. However, when I asked the sales person about the cost for delivery I was in shock. $150.00 - $250. And that was within the city limit. Its one chair, Im a single female, and dont own a pickup truck.Well,Furniture Row you just lost a sale and my business, and my recommendation to others.Maybe your company makes so much money that you didnt need that sale. But, I would think you would want a customer for life and to let others know what a great experience I had. Single white female looking for single white male with a pick up truck.Furniture Row Response

We're sorry this customer disagrees with our delivery fee. Delivery prices are not included in the price of our furniture and are comparable to furniture stores local and nationwide. Customers always have the option to pick up at no charge (and we will load the product in their vehicle for them) or to hire their own delivery service.Review from Casie I

They do not stand behind their product. Bed is falling apart. Screws are coming out from the wood. Its been a year or three butts got the extended warranty. They told us it would Cover everything damages to the frame and all all it is is cleaner that they sell you thats the extended warranty cleaner. So there is no extended warranty misleading they lied to us and now they wont honor the bed falling apart. This is the second time something like this has happened to us 10 years ago we bought from them, my kids will never use them again I have pictures to proveFurniture Row Response

I am pleased with the item I purchased & delivery. However my shopper experience in store wasnt pleasing at all. I felt confused, unwelcomed & profiled by the salesperson assisting me. The salesperson initial interaction with myself set the tone for my experience. There wasnt any other salespeople in the area that was available so I was stuck with this individual if I going to make this necessity of a purchase. Maybe it was my hooded sweatshirt or my ungroomed appearance that resulted in some questionable actions & odd requests of myself. I considered walking out at a certain point but decided against due to additional circumstances & prioritizing the necessity of the item. So I would to thank that salesperson on giving an experience to a customer that resulted in so much humiliation, ************************** that Ive created ************** within. Ill never choose stuff over getting the ***************** that I deserve. ****** learned!Furniture Row Response

We spoke to the customer yesterday to understand what had happened during his shopping experience with us. We apologized for the confusion in regard to his payment type if it needed a signature or not due to him using his debit pin code. We explained to him our cash handling process but again apologized for any unpleasant experience he had with us. We appreciated his business with us and told him if he ever needs anything in the future please reach out to the store manager *************************. Thank youReview from Robert H

We bought a 5 piece kitchen table from Furniture Row 8 months ago. The back of one chair cracked. I reached out to inquire about a replacement or for it to be fixed. They told me it's not covered and they stopped making it anyway. My advice is to go anywhere but a Furniture Row, because they don't stand behind their own warranty.Furniture Row Response

Loved the look of the San ****** dining table but about 4 months later the finish started to come off the top. I called and got a replacement under the warranty. I treated the replacement with kid gloves and kept it under a tablecloth to protect it. Still about 5 months later the finish is coming up again. I called and was told I'm out of warranty and SOL. Ridiculous. Don't buy from this company. C*** products for way too much money.Furniture Row Response

This customer received a one-time replacement due to a spot that could only have been caused by a spill of something that stripped the finish. It was not a defective finish and was not covered by warranty, however we chose to go above and beyond to replace this table as a courtesy. ******** was told at that time it would be a one-time replacement.

We purchase a very expensive couch and were sold on the ******* protection plan by ****** for $399. We have several dogs and a toddler and expressed concern as we have never owned a nice couch in this price point or a leather couch. We were told by ****** to not worry about dogs or any issues with children as with the protection plan everything was covered, and they would even replace the damaged section one time during the coverage period if they could not fix it. We were told ALL issues would be covered and were not given any brochure on the plan. Obviously, ****** receives commission, and we were too dumb to realize this when purchasing it and since becoming aware of it on the spot we were not able to do our own research on whether a plan is worth it or not. We would not have purchased the plan if we knew only a select small amount of damage was covered. We realized today that only damage caused by stains is covered and theres is only a small list of what is considered a covered stain. We found it out when they denied our claim immediately with this reason The ******* Stain Protection Program is for limited accidental stains from single incident, but unfortunately, does not cover leather worn out from cleaning such as color loss, fading. I was told by ****** that it does not matter and that if there is damage that is what the insurance if for. Apparently, Furniture Row trains employees that its morally and ethically okay to say whatever is needed to the customer so they can get their commission; you dont have to worry about it once theyre out the door. I could have used the $399 towards replacing the damaged piece rather than spending it on insurance that refused to cover anything. If I would have received this brochure on the coverage when I bought the couch I would have laughed and said no because of the short and limited list of what is covered. ***************** sold her morals and ethics for %30 of the sale. Way to go girl!
