Business operates predatory parking practices. Appears to be a scam. On 9-20 around dinner time, I parked at the front lot of The Source *******************************************************************. It was a little confusing because I had to use an app with my phone to prepay for parking. There is no human lot attendant and very little signage. I believe it was 10$ for 1.5hrs, but who know because honestly paying that much for parking already feels like a scam. We had reservations at ***** because it was my birthday. We were sat promptly and ordered food. service was a little slow but nothing too out of the ordinary. When finished with dinner we left the property. I would have estimated we were there for less than 1.5 hrs. Fast forward to today and I received a letter from ************************************** PO Box ****** ********* ***** ********** They are demanding a notice fee of 55$ because ticket expired during parking. They have a picture of my car entering the lot at 545pm and another picture which shows next to nothing at 738pm. I tried calling their number and nobody picks up. This system is ridiculous. They are threatening peoples credit scores if the dont get compliance. This smells so badly of extortion and scam, that I cant in good conscience just hand them more money. they have to be getting a lot of people to pay but im not.Business Response

I went to the emergency room for the purpose of a CT scan due to a kidney stone. I have had them before, and tried to avoid the emergency room due to medical bills and pass the stone on my own. After hours of pain, I decided the stone may have been more serious. I discussed withDanielle S *******, PA that I wanted a CT scan to understand the nature of my stone. She explained that she wanted to do ultrasounds for ovarian torsion which she described as a rare condition. At the time, I did not have the energy to argue or mention that I am a CT technologist. I trusted the provider to findout if my stone had passed. I was sent home with no diagnosis, no referrals, and negative ultrasounds, so I assumed I passed the stone on my own at some point. 2 days later I was admitted to an ER in ***** because my condition got worse and a 5-6mm stone was discovered on a CT scan during a 12 hour ER visit. I was told I needed to be admitted into the hospital and was given my usual supplies and prescriptions, so I could get the procedure and family support I needed in my hometown to have the stone removed as it was blocking my urine. I was charged two ER visit bills (Denver Health being at least $3,000 with other charges for imaging). I have spoke toHeavenTesfaye in the ***************************** and filed an appeal with both her department and my insurance in regards to my treatment and she did not let me know what I needed to do to provide documentation for my case and also claims details took place that did not and are not supported in my patient chart that influenced the unfavorable conclusion they came to for my concern. I have paid the amount requested by billing through a loan to avoid being sent to collections however, I do not feel satisfied with my bill for the incorrect treatment plan and my PCP, urologist, and endocrinologist confirm I was not properly treated. I have tried to file a case with multiple agencies and departments to address my concern.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because you did not properly diagnose me. The review you came up with was at the hands of the representative who ignored my emails and calls. You lied about the care I received as well. All you wanted to do was collect money. You dont care about your patients and their well-being.
Sincerely,
Kityana ****Initial Complaint

On April 16, 2024, I had a medical emergency at ******. My heart rate and blood pressure spiked and I collapsed, hitting my head on the concrete. Bystanders said it appeared that I had a seizure. *** was called. I repeatedly said that I didn't want to ride in the ambulance because of the cost. The *** scared me into riding by saying my symptoms were consistent with a brain tumor. There was already a drunk man in the ambulance bed, so they had me sit on the side. The ride was maybe 4 minutes long. I received every other bill related to the *** but never received the ambulance bill. My insurance sent me a check for the portion they would cover and I deposited it in my bank account to pay the bill once received. The ** wrote off all of my bills ($1700) because I do not have a job. I called the ambulance company on 8/2/2024 to ask where my bill was and it turns out they had been sending the bill to Target for the last four months. I corrected my address and also sent an email to the billing company to see if the bill could be reduced since I have no income. It took two weeks to receive a response and they essentially said that I was correctly billed - paying full price for a less than adequate *shared* ambulance ride. Since it has been four months and I still have not received a bill, I forgot about the check I deposited from my insurance company. I do not have a job, so the money was used for food. I told the billing team that if I sent them the money from insurance, I wouldn't be able to afford to eat - they don't care. Upon reading their ****** reviews, I can see that this company has scammed people for years. Some wrote that they never received a bill and it was sent to collections. They have a 2.6/5 star rating. I tried to leave a review myself, but it appears that ****** is hiding additional reviews. I do not believe that I should have to pay $1500 for a 4 minute ride where I was not even the patient being attended to - the drunk man was more of their concern.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us about your ambulance bill and billing address. We truly appreciate your feedback and want to ensure your concerns are addressed.
We carefully reviewed your patient encounter and the paramedic care report. Our findings confirm that the care you received met our standards. Based on your assessment, the subsequent treatment and transport were appropriate, and EMS recommended further care, obtaining your consent for ambulance transport to the hospital.
On August 2, 2024, you notified our billing department about an incorrect address. We have since updated your billing address, and records show that invoices have been sent to the correct address starting August 26, 2024.
Regarding your request for a bill adjustment, we regret to inform you that we cannot accommodate this request, as the billing was processed correctly through your insurance company.
We sincerely apologize for any distress or inconvenience caused by these concerns, and we are committed to ensuring that your future experiences with DH are of the highest standard.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because I should not have to pay full price when I had to share the ambulance with a drunk man. I would NEVER ride in an ambulance but the *** used fear mongering to convince me to ride in the ambulance, despite saying numerous times that I did not want to pay for an ambulance. Denver Health Paramedics do not care about people, they only care about money. A less than 4 minute ride, sitting on the side of the ambulance because the drunk man was in the bed, should not cost me $1500. That is highway robbery.
Sincerely,
****** ********Initial Complaint

On 10/30/22 I was taking to ER of this hospital, they took 4tubes of blood, urine samples and pics and swabs. I was assaulted physically and sexually, at my home. Now I take clonazapam that makes lethargic and drowsy and Tylenol for sleep. So someone broke into my place, the doors from outside both are usually open! And then there was in electrical outage. So I was attacked and couldnt defend my self! Besides I have a back injury related to my last job. So I called this past Friday at ********** and I was told that the Doctor has discarded my blood and urine! My blood had no name attached to it! And I left the same day on Sunday around 7:30 or8 pm by a racy call metro! So I was told by a female of this number that the doctor ***** order this test? I ask for the police and they took a report! And persistent ti get my blood taken! Because they thought I was drunk? Really stereotype Latin people! I am someone who works out and dont do drugs or drink etc! So here is my MRN ********** saw the ***************************** 1:39 pm. Why a doctor dismiss my evidence? Just because I am a guy! Men are taking seriously here at this hospital! In on 11/3/22 went back to this ER see by ***************************** 11:09, and told the 911 operator that my head hurts and I was confused and had panic attacks and I was let go when I arrived with in 20 minutes! This why I saw 20 employees all white and both genders between the ages of25 to 35 years old! I am left to a machine for the heart and blood pressure, they laughed at me! And when I went to look for them after 20 minutes on the room I saw them all watching the conviction of the ******* shooter in the high school! All watching nobody cares and they ***** like it that a person of Latin descent, told them to get back to work and do u r job! Both experiences had left me traumatized and victimized again! They take on oath to do what? Nothing!I ask to turn my evidence to the police? And now what? I r going to see my door and furnitureBusiness Response
