    2 drivers ***** and ****** came out to provide an estimate for what I requested to be taken. They claimed it would be over half of a truck and would be around 428 or higher since I had bulky items. I shared my quote with their competitor who was only going to charge 350. They said let us call our ops mgr. to see if he will price match. They came back and said they would do it for the 350. I then went inside to check for a coupon and presented it to them. 25 off for 1/2 load or 50 for a full load. They said we don't even have coupons. I got it and showed them. He told me they wouldn't honor it because they already dropped their price. The coupon doesn't say or have any restrictions about matching a competitor. So I asked for their mgr. to call me. They had someone call me but it sounded like the driver himself. He too said they don't have coupons. I sent him a picture and he said he will still side with his drivers and not honor the coupon.

    On Dec 13, 2022, 1-800-got junk picked up a 3-seater sofa from our upstairs playroom and carried it out for disposal. The day before, ************** had completed our staircase remodel, including new treads, banisters, rails, and newel posts.Approx 1 hour after they removed the couch, I noticed brand new marks/chunks taken out odlf our brand new newel post at the top of the stairs, right at the exit path for the sofa. I called 1-800-Got-Junk to report right away. I sent them before pictures of the newel post, multiple pictures of the damage, and the name and number for the staircase company, their remodeled, and the painter who painted the newel post.I then contacted ************** and they sent out the installer to determine if the newel post needed to be repaired or replaced. The installer came out on Dec 20th and validated that the newel post could be repaired. I contacted the painter for a quote. He sent me the repair quote on Dec 17. It was for $275.We worked with *** and kept him in the loop every step of the way. Earlier on in the process, he said they would give us $50 for the damage. I said we wanted the full $275 covered. Since then, 1-800-Got-Junk has not responded to our claim or paid out any damages for their carelessness.
