Mapquest is listening my personal address with my business. I have left at least 5 request explaining to them that they have made a mistake and to please remove it. This is causing people to come to my home. I also spoke with someone there who hung up the phone as I was explaining to him their mistake. Since then Ive not been able to reach anyone and they havent removed my address. Please have this corrected this is very dangerous for me and my family. How could they make such a mistake and not care. This is causing stress and anxiety. Please remove my information. Thank you.

I own a business in the Dallas **** and Mapquest has listed my personal address as the business address. I've been submitting requests to have this situation resolved since June and I have yet to be contacted about having this resolved. I need this fixed ASAP.

MapQuest is displaying my personal home address online when you search for my business, This is a huge safety concern for me due to the sensitive nature of my business and I need this removed ASAP. I have contacted Mapquest multiple times by submit a ticket to deal with this issue but have not received a response. I need this listing removed as soon as possible as I am concerned for my safety.I submited 6 tickets from July 8th and never get take care.

Mapquest is showing a residential address for my business that is not correct. My business is not at that location and this is not my residence, this error causes a lot of problems. Mapquest is showing a residential address for my business that is not correct. My business is not at that location and this is not my residence, this error causes a lot of problems. My business is a mobile service and should not have a street address, it should only have city, state, zip code listed. I have attempted to resolve this issue multiple times without a response. This is my last attempt to have this simple address error corrected before I contact an attorney. I am rejecting this response because:
The MapQuest response is clearly not taking responsibility by stating they have no record of my business or ***, even though I provided the *** link in my original complaint and a screenshot for the record. The problem is simple, MapQuest is incorrectly showing my business located at a private residence, and this is not my place of business and not my residence, therefore it is incorrect and causes a lot of problems and confusion for myself, my customers, and the people who live at that residence. My business is strictly a mobile service with no store front and should only have city, state, zip code.

But I actually stated, "The MapQuest support team does not have any record of your name, address, phone number, or business listing *** in their system." We had not received any communication from your name, address, phone number, or from the business previous to the BBB complaint. If you have a ticket number or email from the MapQuest support team, you can reply to those directly.

I am rejecting this response because:
What MapQuest fails to recognize or acknowledge is, it doesn't matter where they are getting their data from (in this case Yext), what does matter is MapQuest is displaying the business information incorrectly. It is MapQuest's responsibility to correct what MapQuest is displaying incorrectly, not point the finger to a 3rd party data collector known for using extortion methods. This is a very simple problem with a very simple solution, MapQuest should remove the street address because it is a mobile service (not a brick & mortar store front) and displaying an incorrect residential address. If you read the BBB complaints you can clearly see this is a very common problem, and its on the record that MapQuest has corrected this same problem for many other businesses. The time MapQuest has wasted explaining where they get their data from would have been better spent correcting the actual problem like they have done for many other businesses.

I have tried on numerous occasions to check the listing for ***'sLOCKSMITHING they have a phone number listed that is not mine and does NOT forward and calls to my phone lines. So basically they are committing FRAUD by listing a wrong number for my business and then when a customer tries to use the phone number it just tells them I'm not available. This is a great concern for me considering my customers are having troubles reaching me due to this company high jacking my business name that I own. Yelp is also doing the same thing and I will be filing a complaint against them also. It seems if I don't pay them monies my calls never make it to me. Thank you for your time and I will look forward to a reply from you.

Mapquest is displaying my personal and private home street address where my family lives online without permission. They have somehow linked it to my business account-Arizona Sunrise Shih Tzus and Poos which should only have my city, state and zip code. I have tried to contact them several times to remove the street address by phone and email. I have yet to get a response. My family and I are extremely uncomfortable with this breech of privacy. Could you please help me get the street address off the internet as soon as possible? Thank you,******

I filed a complaint with you twice in the past in regards to mapquest using my personal home address online. I just looked again and its being displayed again. I Live in my home with my children. I dont know what to do to get it removed permanently. They keep removing it and putting it back up a week or two later. Im desperate for a permanent solution. Contact by the business; Permanent removal of my address from mapquest

I am rejecting this response because: Last time I checked my address was still front and Center. You told me to contact the spice. So I called all the places your team recommended. They said Mapquest is the one not taking down the info and continuing to air my private address. **** said theyve contacted you on my behalf several times as well without resolution. Your team makes me feel nothing short of helpless. I want it permanently removed. I have a feeling that wont happen thanks to mapquest. Really a shame!

I'm the franchisor of Window Gang Ventures/Inc. There is a Mapquest listing for Window Gang in ***********, **; however, the address is incorrect along with the phone number since we terminated the *********** franchise 11/2021. I've tried everything to change the info without success, even tried to "claim business" but that only takes me to YEXT (a paid service). That seems shady and in my opinion a bad business practice. What do I need to do to change the incorrect info to reflect the correct info for my business in ***********?FYI, I've already updated my YELP info...Here is the Mapquest link: https://www.mapquest.com/us/*****/window-gang-421590522 The address and phone number need to be updated asap.

Depending on the source of the data, it can be anywhere from minutes to weeks for the updated data to appear on MapQuest. It depends on the update cycle of the data provider. Generally, ********* is updated biweekly.
