      Canceled this junk service four separate times for various BS reasons that would take pages to rant about. Only to be told on the fourth call they were cancelling the wifi the whole time, not the internet! Wow! I didn't realize you could cancel wifi when you have your own routers setup! Oh and of course they charged be for this next billing cycle and promise to refund it (I will never see this money again), and I'm sure they will also try to charge me for equipment I've explicitly stated I've never received. These scumbags lost a customer for life, they will NEVER get a ***** out of me again. Thanks for making me regress to cable, crazy how its been more reliable too.

      The worst customer service I have ever experienced. We are new owners of an existing business. We never received a bill, so century Link cut off our phone service. We called immediately and paid the entire amount. That was two weeks ago. They can not, or will not get our phone turned back on. I've spent hours on hold. Most recently after being on the phone for over 20 minutes waiting for a confirmation of a service tech to come out another representative picked up the phone and told me I needed to start the call all over again. When I asked to speak to the manager, he told me she didn't want to talk to me, even when I insisted. I'm absolutely shocked they can stay in business with such terrible customer service.

      If I could leave a minus review for Century Link, I would. Absolutely NO customer support. Highly advise, find someone else.

      I won't even give one star!! This business has so many customers upset ( after reading the reviews ) I don't feel I need to add another sour customers opinion. I am soon upset with CENTRYLINK! NEVER will they satisfy you. Even if you've been a 30 year customer with a business. Never a late payment. Business closed on October 30th 2024 and here it is March 2025 and still being billed! So much time spent on the phone ON HOLD, then a transfer...you have to e plain your circumstances AGAIN!.... then another transfer and long wait, then a disconnect. What!!

      We have done business with Century Link for 32 years. I called today to cancel our *********** took 60 minutes. First I had to go through 15 minutes of phone prompts until I got through to a **************** ********* told me she was in ***************. She refused to cancel my service until I heard her offers. I hung up after 10 minutes because her English was poor and she had to repeat herself.I then called the **************** number and went through another ***************************************************** the *********** took my call. She was polite and professional however she had some special offers for me. After 15 minutes of her avoiding doing my cancelation she relented after I pressed her.This company engages in actions I believe directed toward older Americans to scare them, confuse and prevent them from accomplishing a simple task that could easily take 5 minutes.Because all their business canceling their product is done outside the ** they do not have to worry about fraud against Seniors.We paid Century Link faithfully each month for 32 years. We contacted our credit card company fraud division about the final payment on March 28 and gave the cancellation number. Century Link has a reputation of not ending recurring payments when service is discontinued.

      I was a Century Link customer for over 23 years for our landline, and internet service in the rural ******* area. In August 2024 we lost our internet and land line service. I contacted Century Link customer service line to resolve the issue. I was given an appointment date with an 8:00-5:00 time period within that day for the technician to arrive. No technician ever arrived, and the appointment was rescheduled to another date with the same time period. No technician ever arrived. I called the the service center again, and was told there were service delays due to vandalized equipment in our area. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and told there were none available to speak with. This constant rescheduling of a service technician went on until January of 2025. During this 4 month period, I reached out to customer service trying to push for our service to be restored, and was never given the same answers as to when our service would be up again. We continued to receive a bill for service every month even though we had no service, and late charges were even applied. I had to call every month to dispute the charges. We do not have much for internet carrier options due to our rural location, so I did not cancel our service as we rely on internet for work, our security ****************** During the 4 months, we kept our security system and streaming services in place, in anticipation that our internet/landline service would be restored at any time. The service was never restored as of January 6th. I was fed up with all of the time and frustration spent on this issue, that I called the service line to cancel our service with Century Link. I asked for compensation for the 4 months of lost security and streaming services, and was told to go to those respective businesses for compensation. The representative said a confirmation of cancelation would be emailed, and never came. Another bill/late charges followed, requiring another call. Hope this is it!*** F

      I was not given notice about a price increase for my monthly service. It says on the CenturyLink website, any price increases will have a notice of at least 30 days. I never received a notice, just a bill with a higher rate. I contacted the company and was told there was nothing they could or would do to help me, and that they have other customers to assist. Terrible customer service. My issue isn't so much the price increase, I understand these things happen. My issue is that I never got a notice about the increase, and when I contacted the company I was totally dismissed.

      Off-shore customer service that is bumbling, unhelpful, tedious. Abhorrent customer service, my cable has been damaged and it has been a nightmare trying to get a technician to service the problem. CenturyLink keeps trying to cancel my appointment, even sending me a text that it has been cancelled because they dont see any problem? After spending an hour by text with a useless off-shore customer service *** I received an appointment by text for a name and address that was not mine, Ive been told that I am not the account holder, and had to deal with three different off-shore customer service ***s who need 15 minutes to pull up my account. I need Internet for my job, this is so frustrating. Still have no Internet, my bill is the same whether I have service or not.

      Our current ISP *** has been so bad that we have been forced to attempt to sign up with a different provider. Unfortunately, our alternative is CenturyLink. These morons have created two separate installations orders/appointments, only to send a notice that they must cancel our service because we are now served by Quantum. If only this were the case. When contacting Quantum, they explain that our address is still under CenturyLink coverage. You can explain this to CenturyLink's outsourced support team, but they either don't care or understand. They only care about setting up a new order that gets cancelled days later. This cycle could go on indefinitely.While it's frustrating that CenturyLink is refusing new customers, not having to deal with their idiotic customer service may be a blessing.

      Horrible price gouging, can't access my bill online. Cannot pay my bill online due to "Unable to retrieve your account." Services are Horrible. Had a technician tell me that centurylink will not upgrade our communication lines because there's not enough people in our area to justify doing so. Was told by technician that they were to keep patching telephone lines that were installed in the ******** bill continues to be far greater than what I signed up for. It's near impossible to speak to someone on the phone, but when you do, it's someone overseas, making it extremely difficult to understand. I've been fighting with centurylink for years paying exorbitant prices for what I've been receiving. Home telephone is always has static, and the internet drops when we get alot of rain. And we get alot of rain. I can't keep up on my bill due to Unable to access my account. Their website for customer service or billing seems to always be "Unable to process." Centurylink has been our only available phone and internet option where I live until we got starlink. Now I finally have the option to get rid of centurylink. Centurylink even makes it difficult to cancel their service. I've had enough of centurylink!
