On June 28, 2024, I visited **** at Colorado Fleetworks for service to my Sprinter chassis **. **** was an expert in Sprinter repair, so I felt confident he would fix my ** and I would be on my way home. I intended to drop off my ** for proper diagnosis and repair, however **** said he would have me back on the road in 3 hours. 2 hours later he was done with the work. I paid my bill to him of $1700, which he did not give me a receipt for or an invoice for the work done. It felt very unprofessional. I began to drive off, where the ** went back into limp mode shortly after. I called him and turned around to bring it back. He said he had one more thing to fix and it would be all set. He did this and was still in his 3 hour time frame. I was able to drive it the last 550 miles home to **************. 2 weeks later I set out for my next road trip and the ** began to act up again. Unfortunately it was not fixed properly. He installed an aftermarket part made by Uropart in which I had read poor reviews on. Apparently this was only a temporary fix. I had to spend another week with the ** in the shop as a reputable Mercedes Sprinter dealer which left me stranded and having to fly home and back to pick it up in ********, **. I requested **** refund me the money spent on the turbo actuator which was faulty. He requested I send the part back to him for warranty replacement however the dealer has to take the part for a core charge, so this was not possible. M
