    Wrongful termination of lease. My wife is having an ************ best friend **************************** is one of the leasing agents at *********************. I have currently not been home for the past 2 1/2 months I have been staying with a friend in the ****** area since I found out about the affair and am waiting for ****** to move out. We currently live in building P apartment 101. I recently found out that ****** helped my wife file a false statement claiming " Domestic abuse" which ****** has informed her if she does this than she can get out of the lease. My wife wants to leave and move in somewhere else with her new partner which is perfectly fine but now it is affecting my living situation. Because ****** informed her to make this decision so she can get out of her legal obligations to pay her half of the lease until it ends in November now I was given a 30 day notice to vacate. I am an extremely passive and nice young man , I haven't even been home for some time so you can understand my shock when I found out the situation. This feels illegal and unfair. I have been working full time in the valley since October of 2018, long before I met my wife. I have the financial means to assume the lease myself and make all necessary payments until it ends in November which I was planning on renewing the lease then. This makes no sense to me and feels extremely unfair that because my wife is best friends with the leasing agent they are pulling strings and essentially "bullying" me into losing my housing as well. Can a General Manager please reach out to me ASAP so we can figure this out because this is absolute non sense and is simply child like behavior. My wife soon to be ex wife is moving out April 19th which I can then pay all the bills myself. My email is ******************** and my cell is ************. I do not wish to have to take legal action and would wish to resolve this like adults. If there is proof of such things happening please show me because it's impossible.

    The residents were involved in a domestic dispute.  One party vacated the unit and the complaining party was verified in order to retain the apartment on his own.  A new lease was signed with the complaining party and to our knowledge there is no issue regarding a lease termination.  Our staff do not involve themselves other than to direct them to the proper resources when a resident notifies us of a domestic violence issue as required.  The situation was made more difficult as one party was in rehab and not able to be contacted directly. It appears this complaint was filed before the issue was resolved and a new lease was signed directly with him as the sole occupant.

    If the resident still feels they are not being treated fairly, I am happy to discuss the issue to understand how we might have handled a difficult situation better given these specific circumstances.
