    We signed a contract February 4, 2022 to replace our three existing decks (expanding one of them substantially) and installing antiqued concrete on the side of our house and beneath the largest deck. The project was quoted to take 4-6 weeks to complete from the point of breaking ground, which occurred in April 2022. Since then, work on the project has been intermittent to non-existent with the contractor disappearing for weeks on end. Communication has been infrequent, never proactive and only after repeated requests from us. Additionally, the quality of the work that has been completed has been poor (incomplete setting of concrete, burying of cables in concrete, wood framing buried in concrete, beams that don't land on caissons accurately, incorrectly placed joists that lead to undulating decking, to name a few). We have shown unbelievable patience, giving the contractor countless opportunities to rectify and complete the project to no avail.
